Boxie® Probiotic 40 Day Natural Odor Control Cat Litter, 28lb Clumping Clay Kitty Litter

I recently made the switch to this litter after previously using Dr. Elsey’s brand because my kitty has been coughing from what I suspected to be the dust from the litter.To me there have been many pros for this litter. Compared to the Dr. Elsey’s litter, Boxie Pro litter is:- Less dusty (haven’t heard my kitty cough since I made the switch)- Much better at odor control, it barely smells like anything- More expensive BUT lasts twice as long so I spend the same amount just less often- Granules are lighter and clumps are much easier to scoop- Clumps well and doesn’t stick to the bottom of the litter boxHowever, a con with this litter would be that it tracks quite a bit. Can be a little annoying, but the pros outweigh this con for me.Really happy about this litter and it has made it much easier to clean the box. Also great that it isn’t irritating for my kitty since that was the main reason I switched.

My husband and I were leaving for a short 3-day weekend trip and had everything prepped for cat sitter to handle our two kitties while we were away, except the litter. I typically always have some in hand, but our replacement shipment was late so I didn’t have enough for extra topping while we were away. No big deal I thought, I’ll just go to our local grocery store and pick up some generic brand from the pet aisle.Fast forward to the day I get home and this store-bought litter had SO much fragrance that our house smelled of a foul sweet scent and the litter - everywhere! The cleanup was awful and just fell through anytime I scooped. It was in that very moment I remembered why exactly I had switched over to Boxie litter over 2 years ago and why I had never gone back to the generic brand litter. I had to immediately rechange all the litter with the now arrived package of our Boxie litter. 1000/10 will never use another cat litter besides Boxie.

This is the best clumping litter where the remaining litter actually looks clean when you remove the clumps! I use scent free litter, as cats have an excellent sense of smell and fragrance is not healthy for humans or for pets, especially pets with excellent sense of smell. Plus the least amount of dust when sifting, in my experience. What originally attracted me to this product years ago was they explain on the package that the probiotics are beneficial living microorganisms that love to digest waste and are effective at controlling ammonia odors. Yes! Please eat the waste my cats leave behind! i think this is why litter looks clean after sifting. I have no proof this is true, except for that I have 4 cat boxes and my home does not smell like I have any cats. When you sift the litter, there is very little dust, which i love! I find that this litter lasts longer than other brands I have used as long as you regularly sift. I fully clean the cat boxes every 30 days, sifting daily. I use litter mats under the cat boxes to catch litter from being tracked throughout the house, but i would use mats like this no matter what brand of litter I use. I do not think there is a litter out there that has 0 tracking. The mats work great to catch the litter when they leave the cat box. I do like walnut shell litter, because it is lighter than any clay litter and a natural option, but the dusting you get with that, you need to wear a mask. Sometimes, I mix it with Boxie. My cats prefer Boxie over walnut, but will use walnut if mixed with Boxie. For my experience with my cats, this is the best clay clumping dust free clean litter and I have been a repeat customer for years. Highly recommend.

It’s great to be honest although it does track a bit if u buy a mat or something it helps with it. for me there’s no smell issue it helps cover the smell well for my male neutered cat although we recently got a new cat she’s lil 5 months old she’s a girl and I’m not sure it’s because she’s not neutered to but It does smell. there’s no dust and the litter sometimes sticks to the walls overall this it is very good so far I’ve always bought this brand only time I’ve had an issue is right now is with the new cat not sure if she isn’t covering it well or the fact that she’s not neutered

Boxiecat litter is THE BEST!!I’ve been a cat owner for 25 years! This litter cleans better than any other litter I have ever tried, including the crystals, the salt dust, the pellets, the papers… or anything else other companies have come out with to try and cover the sense of urine and poop! It leaves no dust, very little tracking and has virtually no scent at all.Because it works so well, I have to use much less of it too, which means that one 16 pound bag lasts for a lot longer than the old bags I was buying before— so it’s much more cost-effective as well!I would challenge anyone to try this at least once and see if they’re not impressed with it.My cats spend a lot less time in the box because of this litter, they go in, do their business and hop back out 😹 with everything fully covered.It’s almost as if they respect their litter box and me a little bit more for giving them this wonderful litter! You and your cats will not be disappointed 😽😻

So I’ve always heard great things about this litter, all over TikTok and social media, the reviews are great as well. I thought I’d give it a try since the last litter I was using did not help with the smell. This litter is good it is ACTUALLY dust free which is very hard to find since so many companies claim their litter is dust free then it’s not. It helps with my allergies as well as my cats. It’s not really easier to scoop it’s about the same as most clumping clay litters I’ve used. The smell I notice it works very well for the first few days or so, I scoop my litter boxes twice a day every day but this litter unfortunately still has a smell. I’m going to maybe try a different litter of theirs and see if it’s any better. I will probably continue buying just for the fact that it’s truly dust free. I do think it’s a little over priced though. :/
