My child enrolled in school remotely starting in March and remained home ever since. (Going into January 2021, at time of this writing.) He's an elementary school student and nearly every component of his live classroom activities involve headphones, a microphone, and very animated meetings with classmates enthusiastically greeting one another for ten minutes solid. Noisy apps? Yes, he's got those. Music and endless sound effects for his videos, class activities, and reading? Yup. I would have been driven insane two weeks in had he not adopted these absolutely fantastic LilGadgets headphones.Let's talk about the most important features: sound control, ergonomics, and that braided 3.5mm cord. Before I go any further, remember they come with a 1-year warranty in case your little one yanks them too hard, bends the headphone jack in the port, or someone squishes them. Life happens and LilGadgets stands by their product. That said, for over-the-ear headphones, they're designed very well with minimal intrusions. You get a pair of comfy pads sized for long-term wear on little ears. The weight is negligible but definitely feels sturdy. The headphones fold up nicely for transportation, though the weak point might be the bend in the headphones, right? Nope. The joint hasn't failed on us; the jack did, and we found out we were under warranty so that was an easy fix after contacting the repair department for LilGadgets. One photo and a simple description later, we were up and running with a new cord that arrived a week later.The colours are vibrant and fun; we own blue, green, and red. Everyone compliments the headphones, but the teachers and I know the real secret. Our kid can't turn the headphones to a damaging level, and the volume never grows intrusive when he is working or we are in the car as he listens to a lesson on his tablet, a movie, or whatever. In fact, their noise cancelling is a little TOO good. We find our kid sometimes yelling at us because he can't hear his own voice. :)We really like the microphone function, it's simple and tidy, and as parents we adore the volume control. What really matters, though? Our child likes the headphones, finds them extra comfy, and suited for his online classroom. With all the new technology and changes adopted to accommodate the COVID reality of school, he takes pleasure in his headphones and feels particularly sad if we hand him earbuds because he forgot his headphones. A great investment by a company that gets kids!

I recently purchased these as replacement headphones for my 5 year old. When buying headphones for my child I was looking for a pair that have a few important features: volume limited, comfortable, durable. These have all three. Other noise limiting headphones come with a cable attachment that limits the volume and our previous pair had this. What I didn't like was that the volume limiting cable could easily be removed and as it turned out, was quite fragile. The LilGadgets headphones have a built-in volume limiting feature.I also really like how durable these headphones are. I wouldn't call them rugged because they look and feel very nice, but they are sturdy and come with a removable nylon braided cable that seems like it will resist more wear and tear than a standard rubber-coated cable. The headphones also have a fairly large range of size adjustment which means she'll be able to continue to use them for quite some time.Lastly is the comfort. My daughter has said many times that these are the most comfortable pair of headphones she's used. They are padded everywhere they contact the head and seem to not bother her after extended use, even on long car trips. They also fold up nicely and can be stored in the included bag.Update 9/27/15: Somehow the plastic band connecting the ear piece to the top of the head band cracked and eventually broke. Fortunately, LilGadgets is an awesome company to deal with and I was able to get the headphones replaced through their warranty. One of the best companies I've dealt with in a long time.

After reading through a few dozen very positive reviews on these headphones, I decided it was worth a few extra bucks if I could get a little mileage out of some headphones, while saving my sanity by not having to listen to The Nightmare Before Christmas for the 100th time on loop in the back of my minivan (no, it's not age-appropriate, but it hasn't caused any nightmares so it's probably OK) because the headphones that came with the swanky entertainment system were heavy and would fall off my littlest's head.The product arrived in the promised Prime time, and out of the box I was immediately impressed with the quality. "These will last, I'm sure of it", though my girls are 3 and 5, and their favorite possessions take the beating you'd expect from a 3 & 5 year old. They were delighted with the weight, sound quality, and colors, and I was delighted to listen to the news or a CD from time to time, or (more often) blissful silence, and eventually I stopped waking up with "This is Halloween" running through my head in my 8th month of pregnancy.You can imagine my frustration when, after a little less than 3 months, I was again listening to Jack Skellington crooning his existential woes. It's a great movie, but I know it back to front and I need quiet sometimes. Sitting up nursing a newborn at 2:52am on a Sunday, I decide to test this great customer service I'd read so much about when shopping for the headphones - I'm awake anyway, an email from my iPhone won't cost me anything. I sketch out my issue and shoot an email to LilGadgets thinking I'm wasting my time - but a few hours later (on a SUNDAY) I have a very polite email from Stephanie in Customer Service asking a few reasonable questions to confirm whether the issue is the wire or the headphone, asking for the batch code on the pair I bought, and confirming my mailing address, which must have been acquired from Amazon.It took me a while to turn around the answers to Stephanie's questions, approximately 2 weeks I think, because I'm busy and could procrastinate professionally, during which Stephanie politely (not irritatingly) followed up with me to ensure I was aware that my issue was a priority and I wasn't being ignored, and that she wanted to make the situation right. Once we'd exchanged a few emails, which were always answered promptly, clearly and in a friendly professional manner (never mind clear English, which I always appreciate), the headphones were replaced - I was shocked. I'm typically not one to complain, or to write reviews, and did so this time chiefly because I was awake at 2:52am and couldn't do much about it. I am 100% satisfied with the product, in spite of the temporary issue, and most pleasantly surprised by and appreciative of the company that stands by their product. The new headphones are excellent, my girls are pleased, and I'm back to listening to my own thoughts or those of various AM station talking heads in the car rather than a kids movie.

These are a great fit for my 5-year old. They were a lifesaver considering how much home schooling we've had to do. They're very comfortable and great quality.

Bought these headphones for a longer flight with our 3 year old. The fit is great for little heads and the cushing is great for when they wear them for a longer show or movie. The sound is great and they are easy to put on for kids. They fold up nicely and the overall build quality is great. Recommended for all who needs kids headphones.
