Leguano Classic was Premium Business

Haven't worn heels or narrowed forefoot-shoes for 35 years. Since Chris made 'barefoot' shoes popular by writing 'Born to Run', have tried well over 25 brands of 'barefoot' shoes, rejecting most all of them, sticking mostly with Vivo-barefoot [English] and Sole Runners [German, like these]. But I wanted yet better fitting, something that had almost sock-like stretch-adaptability to feet, with a sole that would hold up. My efforts to design my own made me appreciate the difficulty.Enter Leguano.The material makes me think of stretch long-underwear; the MOST satisfying foot-cover I've ever tried. I'm sure they'd work fine for running, but they're so nice-looking and comfy that I prefer to use them just for everyday. This higher top looks better to me - ankles stay covered when sitting - than their lower designs, or another soc-moc, 'Skinners'.I would like other solid [non-candy] colors - brown, tan, burgundy - in these taller designs, would also like an option on a yet thinner sole. But there's nothing wrong with the present design. Nichts, was auch immer.Never thought '5-star' about any footwear. But in two brief months, there're three; the Troadlop fabric shoe, the most minimal soc-moc Skinners, and the most comfortable, most finely designed soc-moc Leguano.

So I just got these last week Friday. The reason why I bought these was because I needed a new pair of running shoes. These fit as expected. They are light weight and, can fit into luggage or a backpack. I haven't tried running in them yet but, I plan on doing so sometime this week. I would recommend these shoes to people who like shoes that feel very light or shoes that feel as if the wearer is barefoot. One drawback I can see for this shoe is, people who need support for their feet. These shoes are very minimalist in support. I hope that this review helps people consider purchasing these shoes.

Looking forward to walking in them to check their durability- but really nice so far.
