My dog has kidney disease and has been prescribed kidney safe dog food - and he refused to eat every single brand. He was wasting away, his coat was dry & scraggly, he was lethargic, & sad. It truly appeared that he was no longer thriving in any way. I was devastated.Out of pure frustration, I started googling different food options & found Dr Harveys, who offered a free sample. Because my dog is small it was enough for about week of food. I follow the directions, gave it to my dog, and for the first time in many, many months, he immediately ate & then are all of his food. I just couldn't believe it.I went ahead and bought the bigger bag hoping that it wasn't a fluke. Since then, my dog has eaten all of his food at every meal!!! Within several weeks everything changed for him.My dog, it's like a whole new dog! His coat is full, shiny & soft. He is running around and happy again... It almost feels like I haven't seen him like this since he was a puppy. Before I thought he was pretty close to death and now I know that we have more years ahead with him.I feel so good giving this food to my sweet boy. I love that everything is organic and whole. I love that he is getting his healthy fats from coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil. I love that I am able to rotate different kinds of protein for him.He goes for a check up next week & I can't wait to see his bloodwork results.I'm forever grateful to Dr Harvey!

One of my dogs has a chicken allergy and it's been tough to find a healthy food with no chicken in it. With Dr. Harvey's I can add whatever protein that I prefer which is exactly what I was looking for. It's easy to use, my dogs love it and they're doing well on it! I highly recommend this food. It was also shipped super fast!

Susie is my 65lb Bernedoodle 13 month old puppy.It was disturbing to learn of all the problems attributed to feeding dogs kibble.I won't go into it here but I decided I needed to find a better way to feed Susie.It turns out there aren't many easy, cost effective options out there. And the first opinion you will find is veterinarians DO NOT RECOMMEND a Raw food Diet.My main concern was finding the proper nutritional diet which I new needed to contain more than beef, chicken or other protein. And I didn't want to just start cooking a bunch of vegetables or grains. So many foods are dangerous for dogs.Then I found Dr. Harvey's Canine Health Miracle Dog Food!With so many options, it is a complicated decision.When I read the ingredient list, I could tell it was everything Susie would need.I also loved that there has never been a recall of Dr. Harvey's since they started in the 1980s!It is very easy to make and you can make it ahead of time and store it in the fridge.I love that comes dehydrated and you just add water.You need to follow the directions and also add a protein and a fish oil supplement.So now, how does Susie like it?I was amazed!!!After 2 days, the difference was noticeable!With her previous food, there was never any excitement. And she never finished her meals. I threw out a lot of kibble!I could not believe a Bernedoodle could have more energy!!!!!Now she prances while I am making her food, dancing up and down.She eats every last bite and licks the bowl clean. And then she goes back and licks it again!And talk about energy! When we used to come home from the dog park, Susie was out for a long nap.Not any more! She wants to stay longer and now she is still ready to go for more and presses her button (Susie is very smart) to go out as soon as we get home, amazing!I can also tell the difference in her beautiful, long Merle coat. it is long and curly and surprisingly soft.i hope you will give Dr. Harvey's a try. My dog loves it. I add some to his kibble and also add raw meat. It's easy to mix up and serve. It's not too expensive especially if I mix it with his kibble. He's a big dog so mixing it with kibble is a money saver. There are several varieties to choose from. The website offers free samples.

My dog LOVES this stuff - she chases her bowl around the floor trying to finish every last bit. We mis-timed this, and went straight from her normal kibble to this food and the pup had no digestive issues. While this food is really expensive, my dog's coat and demeaner seem to have been affected for the positive - she's probably 14 years old and has plenty of energy to play between naps. If this were 30% less it'd be less of a drain on the budget, but my dog deserves this kind of food - especially for her twilight years.

Several years ago, a vet recommended Dr. Harvey's for our dog. Our dog is allergic to chicken and something in the other more processed dog foods was not agreeing with him. He's been eating Dr. Harvey's Health Miracle for many years now and has no issues. We mix up a container's worth and that lasts us several days - that way we don't have to make it from scratch at each feeding. We add the oil and meat that we cook when we feed him. He licks his bowl clean at every meal!Only issue is we have it on an auto-shipment and twice we've received bags with holes in them so the oat mixture has leaked. I also don't know if it's okay to feed it to him when it's like that. Amazon was unable to send a replacement for some reason but they did refund me but then I ended up spending more money when I ordered a replacement myself since it wasn't giving me the subscription discount. All in all, we love this for our dog.
