Works as Expected - Easy Install - Better than replacing entire Opener
Ordered from "Liquid Surplus," shipped by Amazon, shipped same day, delivered within 48 hours via Amazon delivery, package undamaged.Product was bought for ~$100. Seems overpriced, given the module it replaced was around $50.Product contains a remote transmitter, programming 3-wire plug, Receiver module, and needed signal cable.Instructions were clear, and I had the product installed and all of my remotes working in less than 1 hour - including reading, collecting tools, and other prep work.Receiver module plugs into power receptacle and has an integrated pass-through power receptacle (it controls nothing, just provides another hole to plug in a device, or the device/garage door opener you are controlling).Signal wire connects Receiver to the existing Controller - reference your garage door opener documentation, or connect to the same wires coming from the wall controller panel.Program the Receiver:1. The product transmitter has a random code you can use to program the receiver, but if you have multiple transmitters you will need to re-program all of them also.2. If you have multiple transmitters, take a previously working remote and us it as the 'parent' remote, insert the programming stud on the right side, connect to a 'child' remote, and perform the programming procedures for each button. Using this method, I only had to program 1 new transmitter remote - the other 4 existing transmitters (2 remotes and 2 in-car home-system remotes) were already programmed.3. Use any of the programmed transmitters to program the new receiver.4. If you ceiling power outlet has lose plugs, it may be necessary to work out some additional method to keep the Receiver installed in the ceiling (e.g., 3M adhesive strip, Velcro pad, or a strip of materiel/tape supporting it and stapled to each side.)Seems a good product. Works. Easy to install.Saved +$100 by not buying a whole new garage door opener.Saved time, money, and aggravation of installing said new garage door opener.

Very Easy to install on any garage door opener
It was easy to install I just had some initial confusion on how the wires went in. You just press the tabs and push the wires all the way in. After they are in, give a light tug to make sure the wires are secure. My garage door stopped working with the remotes, the vehicles and the outside key pad. I found out the radio receiver went bad and there was no longer a replacement in production. I then found this universal receiver and thought I would give it a try. After I got the package it took about 10 min to get everything opened and set up. The garage door now opens with the new remote and with the old one after programming it. It also opens with the vehicles again. Praise the Lord!!!

It works. And it works with HomeLink.
Works great with my Marantec Maclift 3 Deluxe 2005 garage door opener. As people said in other reviews, don't disconnect any existing wires. Just add the two wires from this adapter to wires 3&4 on the opener. The one thing that threw me is that it only pairs with one remote. I wanted to pair it with two remotes. To do that, you pair remote 1 with this adapter. Then you use the little Marantec programming wire thing to pair remote 2 to remote 1. So now, I've got 2 new Marantec remotes, I've used one of them to setup both of the HomeLink remotes that are built into our cars, and the original old remotes still work fine.

Works well!
Works well- it was easy to understand how to use and connected to homelink immediately. The hard part is wiring the unit and the garage door opener. The instructions do not tell you to push in on the yellow appearing tabs above the holes where the wires go, so it took a while to figure that part out. Push in on the tab above the hole then insert the wire. Same case with the connection on your garage doorMy garage door is from 2005 (Mantec Elite from 2005 or something) and I lost the original remote; they don't make replacement remotes and you can't find anything online. So, this was a great solutionFor my specific garage door, I put the gray striped wire in slot 3 on the garage door and in the left hole on the transmitter. The other wire went in the right side slot of the transmitter and hole / slot 4 on the garage door

This product does not come with the necessary wires to install in the garage!
The product manual shows picture of installation process including the 2 wires used to hook up the external receiver to the garage door opener. But the 2 wires are not in the kit! The Hook Up Diagram states," WIRE BUNDLE PROVIDED." How can I talk to a person about this issue? I need a phone number or email address. Then I can proceed.
