Worth every penny!
Since moving to the NC mountains, I have encountered a variety of bugs/flying insects that I have never had a problem with before. I started seeing tiny flying insects that one might think were fruit flies, but they appeared before even having food in the house, since it was a newly built home. They kept coming and coming and I was at my wits end with trying to eliminate them. I tried vinegar and water, along with other fruit fly traps that didn't barely make a dent in catching them. Then I started seeing them throughout the home, and in places where there weren't any food items after moving in. They even bothered me in my home office! I went to the extent of having a plumber come out to ensure they weren't drain flies and were told they weren't, and had pest control spray several times in and outside the home. I couldn't prep food without them coming around, I would see them flying across my bedroom at night, and they appeared on my bathroom mirror! Enough was enough! So, I decided to try these Zevo fly traps! And let me tell you, they started catching them quickly! Easy to set up and assemble. I just popped one of the sticky traps into the cartridge and plugged into several outlets throughout the home in places where I saw them the most. The trap itself is super sticky so once the flies get stuck, there is no going back! The plug-in cartridge is somewhat big and if plugging into the top outlet, you still have space to plug something into the outlet below it, like a regular plug(lamp/vacuum) but nothing overly big.It has a blue light glow that attracts all sorts of flies, including gnats and moths. I have found that on darker painted walls the blue light still glows, just not as bright as it does on lighter colored walls. With fly and gnat season into full swing, my pest control guy told me to go ahead and get them plugged in to start catching them early. So, I loaded up on these and have many throughout the home, and especially in areas I see them the most. While they are a little more expensive than other brands or fly traps, I feel these are worth every penny due to its effectiveness. I am hoping I am ahead of the game with getting them set up early so I can enjoy having food or a beverage without having to fish out these tiny little critters!Side note: plug them into areas you see them the most, and/or around plants. Check within a few days and if they aren't catching anything move them and try a new spot!First three photos are when I plugged them in after moving into our home last year in July, and you will see the volume it caught in ONE night. The last few are of me plugging them in now, trying to stay ahead of the game.

Very helpful, ZEVO devices help a great deal to eliminate black gnat problems I have had recently.
These do seem to work. You have to keep in mind that they attract things like the little black gnats with light, so they will work best when it is dark in the area, without a lot of "light competition" - after a few days you will see quite a few of them stuck to the sticky refills. I have a big unit now near my computer, where at night the little gnats bother me, one 1 of the smaller Zevo units across the way on the bedroom wall, and another on the wall nearer the bed. I think my gnat problem is coming either from the window a/c pans (I put a couple of a/c cleaning pan tablets in the pans of both a/c units) and from the sink drains. I also tried the old apple cider vinegar with a few drops of dish soap in a glass jar, covered with saran wrap with holes poked in it - thing in the kitchen, not seeing much there. Most activity in my condo is in the bedroom area - as far as black gnats go anyway.

Working well for first week of operation
I was skeptical about this product but am happy to report that this product lives up to the other positive reviews. It is similar in operation to the sticky insect traps that I have from our Aptive insect service, however the plug-in blue light must attract gnats/fruit flies quicker and directly because this unit has trapped more insects in a shorter amount of time than the paper sticker traps. It is possible that I see more gnats in our home due to the fact that I have numerous indoor plants and a food cycler in our kitchen that we use daily (which is where I have placed the Zevo unit). I am happy with the Zevo flying insect trap and will purchase another unit for our main living level to eliminate any other residual flying insects in our home. I do think it is a little pricey, but am happy with it's operation. I sincerely hope it continues to work well. I have only had it plugged in for one week.

gnat grabber
Its getting the gnats--not a lot of them though . I'll move it--but because its a plug in, you have to find a good plug in a good location! but that's my issue.

Read If Using For Houseflies!
Fantastic on it's own for small fungus gnats, also catches moths which I don't love but I know others will. One suggestion: if you want it to effectively catch houseflies, I recommend creating a housefly trap by cutting a bottle in half and using a bait like vinegar and soap in the bottom, using the top part upside down as a funnel lid to trap the flies in. I plugged the light in upside down, and put the bottle trap immediately under it. While the light does attract a few houseflies on its own, I found the combinations of the two VERY effective. If the fly is attracted to the light, and escapes the sticky pad, it will travel downwards and be more likely to end up in the bottle trap. If the fly is attracted to the smell and ends up escaping the bottle trap, it will attempt to use the light source to escape, leading it to the sticky pad!

Nice price for a two pack
I needed a couple extra of these because the summer bugs are coming out early! They arrived brand new and in the original packaging. They work pretty well but seem to work the best at night when the built in light has more success attracting bugs. The individual inserts can hold a lot of flies so even in the summer months they can last a few weeks to a month. They are very sticky and remain sticky even when full of flies. They are kind of a flimsy plastic so you have to be a little careful not to press too hard when putting it in the outlet. They can be a little tall so it doesn’t work for all the outlets in the areas I wanted. You can turn it to the side but I find that tends to block the outlet above or below it so I don’t like to do that.
