Essential Equipment for Weaver
Ashford is a reliable brand in weaving looms & supplies. And a heddle threading hook is essential equipment— even 2 hooks is not too many. Quick delivery was appreciated.

Excellent tool!
Ashford products are always excellent. This is no exception. The holes in the heddles of rigid heddle loom reeds are small, this threading hook is perfect. Also, shipping was lightning fast. Thank you!

Does the job.
It does the job well and even fits in the tiny holes on a Beka loom.

it works-
I bought this thinking I would like it better than the plastic one that came with the loom. It works okay- but I do like the plastic one better. I use this one for warping the 12 dent when I sley the reed.

Old Memories and a Big Smile.
When I was a kid, just 17 years old, my grandfather, who was a retired police officer, and was at that time working at a weaving mill as a Security Guard, wanted to teach me the value of a good education. He was able to get me a summer job in the mill working 3:00 - 11:00 P.M. Since I wasn't a skilled weaver, I was taught to assist the weavers by keeping the thread feeder full, and when a thread broke on the loom a "drop wire" would fall in its space. I would use a "threading hook" just like this one to grab the broken thread and set it on top of the cloth for the weaver and pick up the "drop wire". When I saw the "threading hook" for sale I had to have it.
