Great foot file, will last a long time and no more catching on the sheets!
I wear flip flops and sandals a lot in summer, which leads to dry and cracking heels. This is my favorite file, it's really effective, not painful, extremely sturdy handle and the sandpaper like grit is just the right size to remove the dead skin but not dig deep into your healthy tissue - wouldn't want that! The quality is very good, I feel like this will last forever, but I don't know how the grit will hold up over time...so I guess we'll see. Even if I had to replace it years from now, it's inexpensive, so it's a great value.

This really works!
I love it. Left my feet smoother than salons and looking like young heels again.I have struggled with dry heels and thick dry skin leading to feeling insecure of my feet. It began when I let salons use the grater on my heels. Big regret!! After so many years I decided to search for a good pumi. This pumi scraped it all off leaving my feet really smooth. My kids even noticed ?y feet did not look dry like usual.

Heavy Duty
A thousand times better than the plastic foot files we have been using. This heavy wooden file allows you to really add the pressure and file down any annoying dry skin with ease. Due to the large surface area that includes the sides of the wooden tool, it is a seriously good way to get smoother feet. We use the side area to get into any cracked parts of the foot. The wide flat surface is great for the whole foot. Bonus is that it is two-sided, both sides the same, so no guessing what side you should be using. After use, we spray the foot file with a disinfectant and scrub it down with a toothbrush. Then it's a good rinse and a hang to dry. It is always ready for the next time we need it. Handle is big enough to use a Sharpie and write your name or initials so you don't get yours mixed up with anyone else's. Love that. Great product. Should last a good 6 months or so with twice-weekly use.

Very very effective!
I have very, very dry, cracked heels. This is the best file I have ever used and my heels look so much better! It has a smooth grit and long surface area that gently removes all rough and calloused areas and and creates lots of "white snow"! lol I have to use this outside. Definitely will buy again when/if it ever needs replacing.

This tool is robust and effective. I'll definitely buy again... if it ever wears out.

MUCH BETTER than a pumice stone!
I've tried several pumice stones to remove corns and calluses. This foot rasp is WAY BETTER than any of them -- and less expensive too.It feels very coarse and sharp, but it's actually just right. It scrapes away the callus faster and more effectively than a pumice stone. As long as you keep it on the callus, there is no pain when using it.Well made. Easy to hold. Easy to clean. It's now my go-to foot tool.P.S. Get the black one because it makes it easy to see your "progress" (see photo).P.P.S. I like the flat one (both sides flat), but the curved one has one side flat so it might be more versatile.

Just Ok
This foot file is no better and no worse than any other I have ever used. You get exactly what you see... a wooden file with a coarse sandpaper end to file your foot. There is nothing special about this file compared to any other to merit all of the glowing reviews, yet once again I was taken in by them and tried it anyway.Years ago, I had a very good foot file (similar to the cheese grater type) and a very good file (more like this one, but a bit finer in coarseness) that worked wonders for my feet and I compare every file I use to those. Most I have tried since have just been okay, but I had the luxury then of shopping in-store and being able to evaluate the items with my hands and eyes and did not rely on the reviews of others. That is why I decided to review this item myself. My feet have suffered from dry skin around the heels since having children. My feet swelled and cracked with my eldest and I am now blessed with their reappearance from time to time. Prior to children, my feet didn’t require any filing, and a bit of Vaseline + socks at night always did the trick. This file might have been appropriate back then. These days, keeping my feet comfortable is a bit of a process, and this file is not good enough.I have a collection of graters, files, Stones, and electric files, all very highly reviewed, and can honestly say, the ones I’ve purchased from Amazon have all been exactly the same. Not one has been any better than another. Not one has been worthy of the exhuberent 5 star reviews bestowed on it. They’re all just - ok. Nothing special. This one, I used for 15 minutes, and it worked alright, but it wasn’t super effective. It did not leave my skin much thinner (if you have calluses), but did eliminate some of the superficial cracks as well as some of the roughness created by the horrific Peilei grater (also extravagantly reviewed) that I also purchased on this site some months ago.My advice to you is - if you are able to shop in store right now and hold the files in your hands and check them yourselves before purchase.. do that. You will no doubt find a much better grater/file. The ones you are going to find on here will work, with more effort, but they’re just going to be okay, and while worth the money, they will hardly live up to the reviews.
