Time for Bed Board Book

This book has beautiful artwork in soft colors. All the animals and fish are being tucked in for the night because it’s time for bed. Of course the child is the last one to go to bed.It has such a sweet gentle message. Everything about this book is quiet and calm.I read it to my children and now give it as a baby shower gift whenever I go to one.

This book has some of the most beautiful illustrations in a book. It’s such a sweet bedtime book. My children, who are adults now, had this book when they were little. Lots of wonderful memories reading it to them at bedtime and now I’m reading to my grandson. One of my all time favorite books!

The rhythmic words are so sweet and flowy. The story is a wonderful bedtime read for children from baby through youth. I give this book to everyone I know who is having a baby. I hope it brings them much joy for years to come!

My oldest daughter loved having this book read to her at night, and our other two kids enjoyed it as well. Recently I caught our ten-year-old looking at it, as we keep it around for when we have little ones over. We actually purchased this copy for our nieces' kids and have told that they read it frequently at night. This is a wonderful bedtime book with simple rhymes which the kids remember.

Realistic pictures of animals and their young. Lovely rhyming language and loved the size of the board book. We can both lie down and it is easy to hold the book with one hand as we read it together.

I bought this for my kids over 20 years ago and they loved it. Still had it when my granddaughter came long last year and she loves it being read to her countless times throughout the day, and looking at the beautiful illustrations and hearing the lovely rhymes, so I had to buy the board book which is better for her little hands. I wonder if she’ll pass it onto her grandchildren, it’s a timeless classic, and highly recommend.

It is a simple book for young kids. The pictures are not particularly clear. Best for introducing babies to learning.
