Which is the first one in 6 months to do so.I used an exacto knife to open the box. Once opened was Shocked to Find a glass jar without any packing in the box. I had thought item was moving too much but, thought might of moved around the some of the packing moved. That was not what happened. Box had no packing to protect the jar from breaking.The jar did not break. I take it out of box. Go to open it and find No Seal on it! I just screwed the lid off.It is clear and taste is ok. No smell to speak of it.I normally buy Aunt Patty's. I do love her Coconut Oil, Creamed Coconut. Decided based on reviews to give this one a try. I will be going back to Aunt Patty's. For me the savings wasn't worth it. Aunt Patty's is Pure Quality.

How is a product (an oil) only have 1 month of life left delivered to me? Delivered feb 26 and the oil has a stamp that says it is best before May? What a rip off

I'm glad I overlooked a few negative reviews and went ahead with this purchase. It was packaged beautifully upon opening, the coconut aroma was wonderful. I will be ordering again!

I ordered this for my mother. It came in great packaging. Everything about it is attractive. I even felt bad throwing away the box it came in. Lol The smell isn't overwhelming, I like that. Once my mother tries it out, I'll update the review.

I brought this on a family Thanksgiving trip this year, and it was the gift that kept on giving. We used this Coconut Merchant Organic Coconut Oil to do a fish fry. The smell of fresh fish that my dad and I caught, frying in this coconut oil, was divine. We have a vegetarian in the family too, and she used it to cook vegetables which was also delicious. One day, we made cranberry brownies -- again with this coconut oil. This is high quality, healthy stuff!!! would buy again.

Im racking my brain to find something remotely negative or even neutral about this product. You can tell it’s a high quality product by its consistency. I’m one of those people who eat it and also use it on their face/body (shoutout to Lizzo). I would buy this again,

Came broken and Amazon won't replace. I like the brand, but if it comes broken it should be replaced. Would love to give it 5 stars, but since I can't use the oil, I'll give it 3.

I bought this as it stated raw extra virgin organic coconut oil. I wanted the raw product and something that hadn't been messed with. Smelled like the coconut had been roasted and burnt. Instead of a gorgeous fresh coconut smell like I've had with other brands it smelled quite off. The texture was different to other brands too. Won't be buying again as the listing is quite deceptive

This product arrived very quickly, which was good but when I tasted it, it had a rancid taste. Based on the reviews I read, I decided to try it. It seemed value for money for a litre of coconut oil but the taste was not right and I could not eat it. Maybe it was this particular batch, I wished it tasted good but it didn't. I grew up eating and cooking with coconut oil so I do know what I'm talking about. All the coconut oil that I've ordered on Amazon have tasted right, this did not. I gave it two stars for how quickly it arrived.

I’ve been subscribing to this coconut oil for a while. It’s in a lovely jar that can be reused or recycled. It’s easy to use and lasts ages. Recently I have become more aware of packaging and although these jars are packed in a cardboard box but also a lot of polystyrene which cannot be recycled. I’ve found it hard to find another option that’s as good value for money as this so have stuck with it for a while. Now I don’t know if my tastes have changed or the manufacturing process has, but the last couple of jars have been so heavy on coconut taste it’s ruined my baking and left me feeling quite sick. I’m on the lookout now for a truly tasteless alternative. If they changed their packaging it would have been 4 stars from me. If you don’t mind a coconutty, oily taste then this is for you...but I won’t be purchasing again until I’ve tried a few alternatives.

The coconut oil is lovely, I use it mainly for food but also as a moisturizer, leave in conditioner for my hair and for oil pulling (which is disgusting though, be warned :p) and it all around hasn't let me down. The one thing I can't recommend it for is sweet potato oven baked chips, it doesn't taste right without the olive oil. Also when using it I make sure to use a clean spoon/knife etc and close it again asap as my first jar of coconut oil turned red after a while, the moisture turned it into one big heap of mold. But as long as you are aware it will last literally forever :)

Got it for a dog who has itchy skin and dementia. Dog doesn’t like the taste of it meat or mixed in food (and he normally eats anything). Vet recommended coconut oil and said dogs love it so I’m not sure if it’s the brand that’s the problem or my dog just doesn’t like it
