So I kinda bought this thing on a whim because it looked cool and maybe fun to use. Thankfully, I was correct in my assumption. I love the ChopFit axe! It is a great workout experience and the app comes has tons of built in circuits for using the axe and different settings from tough 10 reps to tougher 20 reps and toughest 30 reps. I was surprised at how much of a full body workout the exercise circuit achieves. The first use I just did only on the rough setting and almost my entire body was sore the following day. Since then I’ve worked my way up to doing the tougher circuit on a regular basis and occasionally the toughest circuit for a nice workout. It’s also more satisfying to use the ChopFit axe when I’ve got my heavy metal playing, swinging away to some Amon Amarth or other bands on my rotation for workouts.So if you’re looking for a piece of workout equipment that isn’t too terribly expensive and gets you a lot of versatility with the plethora of differ circuits you can select from, ChopFit axe is a great investment.

Looking at the listing at a glance, the ChopFit looks like an expensive gimmick piece, but in-person, it's quite a bit more impressive. This thing has very solid and thoughtful construction, with a dense polymer handle with a grippy texture and rubberized head. It's intended for use with motions similar to sledgehammer swings, but unlike the typical sledgehammer and tire arrangement, this is meant for use indoors, without striking anything. It's kind of like doing a kettlebell swing, but with the weight positioned further from the hand. It's a bit light for my tastes, but it's good for intense, high-rep workouts. After thirty or forty swings, you can feel the burn, especially in the outer arm muscles. Above all, this thing is fun to use. Just the look of the thing, swinging it around, it really gets you psyched up for a workout. The pommel has a lanyard loop that is hooked to help keep your grip from slipping off. It comes with a lanyard and nice drawstring bag.

Axe has a nice weight to it so controlled exercises should produce toning results. Didn't hint at any app or where to get instructions though, previous reviews mentioned it hasn't been updated and it looks like they're not even promoting it now. Oh well YouTube University it is.

Portable and fun to use.

Being that I'm fitness obsessed, I am always open to training with new products. Some I find useful; others, not so much. I must say, the ChopFit is extremely impressive, as I've incorporated it into my daily cardio, and have used it every other day to shred obliques from all angles; overhand, underhand, and from the side. It's the perfect weight and you don't have to mess around with the cables constantly, which always annoys me. I have recently begun training people in various types of fitness and have incorporated the ChopFit into their workouts, and they're loving it!. Did I mention we are in a pandemic, and this is a great tool for working out at home or outside if you're still not going to the gym. It's got me feeling like Rocky, chopping wood in Russia, training for battle with Ivan Drago. Could not recommend more. Big part of my current routine. Thank you.

My spouse asked for this for Christmas! She absolutely loves it! It is a fun way to work out!

What a fun concept they’ve come up with here! I contemplated getting one for so long because let’s be honest, it’s kinda ridiculous at first glance, but I finally pulled the trigger. Very surprised by the product I received. Everything about it is well built yet comfortable to use for entire workouts. What a surprise the totally free fitness app is! The prebuilt workouts and entire chopfit ecosystem they’ve built is truly a blast and you don’t even have to buy a chopfit to use them. The custom exercises they’ve fleshed out in their HIIT-esqe videos make for a really good full body workout. I’m very interested to see what other ideas and products they launch in the future.

Bought the chop fit pro and box arrived opened. You would think when you pay almost 130.00 that at least someone would take the time to tape up the box. I guess too busy counting the money they are making to bother! Don’t know if I got everything or missing something. There is nothing written anywhere of all the contents of the box. Thanks chop fit I was very enthusiastic about the product but not so much now.
