Sound quality good. Every other feature is a plus. A fine product for all.

Not as good as I had hoped. I had gotten a (cd walkman) generically speaking, years ago. And it finally wore out, new batteries were not keepinlg the discs spinning enough for function any more. (mechanical problem).I had expected this maxchine would have features whixh it does not: (1) it would return to the same place where it left off. -- seems this is a budget model, will consider buying a(nother) fancier one now ... (2) a "hold" button (to lock the active features. -- seems the 'anti-skip' features are supposed to make that unnecessary. but i've grown accustomed to having one 00 again, will consider buying a(nothier) fancier one now.

Coby Portable player
This cd player is okay for the price. I've only used it a few times and it did stop abruptly while I was listening to a CD. It wasn't because of the batteries because I placed a new set of energizer batteries before I used it.This was a replacement of a Durabrand cd player I had owned for over 10 years which finally stopped working. I liked the Durabrand better because the buttons were labeled which made it much easier to operate. Unfortunately, with this Coby, the buttons are not labeled and being the cd player is black, the markings on the buttons are not very visible and makes it difficult to operate. The sound quality was not as impressive as the Durabrand, it will work for now, but I am going to look to see if I can purchase a Durabrand as I don't feel confident this cd player will last!I have only used this a few times in a months time and it suddenly stops during a song. It is not worth purchasing!!!!!

Battery box cover does not close
I am not going to return this CD player but it does have one flaw, the cover over the battery box does not shut. Easily fixed with tape
