Beautiful jacket: love it!
I absolutely love this rain jacket, and often wear it just as a coat, even when not raining. The material has a bit of a sheen to it, has a lovely feel, and is a really good midweight jacket (a little heavier than my packable rain jacket because it's lined). I LOVE the color (the prettiest burgundy color without being too dark), and the tartan lining, all very well made. The sleeves, as always, are too long on me, but since it's lined, I can just roll them up to fit with the lining showing. I think it runs quite large; started with my regular size and had to return it because it swamped me. I went one size down and it fits better, with enough room still to layer a sweater underneath, so you'll have to take all that into consideration. The hood is not removable, nor is the lining (ok with me). I haven't worn it yet in one of those soaking downpours, but it's done very well (kept me dry) with 'regular' rainfall. You can pull the waist in a bit with an interior adjustment and I like the slanted front pockets with a snapped flap – easy to get into yet protect against rain. I really didn't need another jacket (ahem!), but kept this because I love it so much.

Perfect coat
Title: Perfect Companion for Chicago's Weather!I recently purchased the SaphiRose Women's Long Hooded Rain Jacket, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! Living in Chicago, where the weather can be unpredictable with cold rain, this jacket has become my go-to outerwear.First off, the length of the coat is fantastic! It provides excellent coverage, keeping me dry and warm even during heavy downpours. The hood is generously sized, offering extra protection against the elements, and it stays snug without obstructing my view. The material is both lightweight and durable, making it perfect for layering without feeling bulky. I've worn it during brisk walks and while commuting, and it has performed wonderfully. The windbreaker feature is a definite plus, as it shields me from chilly gusts while still being breathable.I also appreciate the stylish design, which allows me to feel fashionable even on gloomy days. The pockets are a great addition, providing ample space for my essentials.Overall, I highly recommend the SaphiRose Women's Long Hooded Rain Jacket to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish raincoat. It's a five-star product that has exceeded my expectations in Chicago's cold and rainy weather!

Great fit, keeps you warm for sure. Just get it
I was about to leave on a flight to Boston, 4 days left for my trip, when... I finally decided to check the weather (please bear with me, I come from 80 F weather year-round) and... oh, snap! it's gonna be cold and rainy!!! i'll keep this one short: i ordered this jacket in a rush but IT IS A KEEPER. this was my one and only at 45-70 F weather. it also dresses up and down. i went to 5 star restaurants and then also a baseball park with this puppy. trust me. i buy lots of things via Amazon and rarely write a review. i'm writing this one for YOU, the doubter. just buy it, you won't regret it.P.S.: The only possible way this jacket could be improved, in my opinion, is with an inside pocket... which would probably up its cost and then maaaaybe make it not worth it (?). But I had to mention it though, cause you guys can figure that one out and, well... you never know :)

Lightweight, decently waterproof
I'm from Colorado but recently moved to Oregon. Because I'm used to much much colder temperatures, I was looking for a rain jacket that was lightweight (not insulated) but would keep me dry and decently warm when I'd take my dog outside, take a walk, or get from point A to B in the city.I normally wear L-XL in men's tshirts and button ups and XXL-2XL in women's, and I'm a 20 or 22 for pants. The 2XL option on the size chart best fit my measurements and jnderd fit everywhere except my shoulders. I had to return it and get the 3XL instead to try and get more shoulder/chest room. But the only available option for 3XL was black. I was really disappointed because I loved the army green, and if the seller were to offer the 3XL in any other colors, I'd buy it. I can't speak for how it fits when layering cause I've never needed to layer other than maybe a long sleeved tshirt or cardigan under it. Sleeves are the right length and I can move my arms decently. It is decently waterproof. I think there has been one time where I had to take my dog out when it was pouring rain all day and that was the only time I felt like maybe it had seeped through, but in normal rain conditions it keeps me dry underneath.Thickness wise, it's a good thickness for me. It's just two layers of waterproof material instead of having padding/insulation, so it's not suffocatingly hot like other rain jackets out there. It's plenty warm enough for walking my dog with a tshirt under and jeans. If you are a "parka, beanie, and insulated gloves in 45 degree weather" type person you'll need to layer under this.I really wish I liked the drawstring to make it more fitted, but it instead hits almost right under my chest rather than at my waist and it looks really weird when gathered there on me... I included a photo to show what I mean. The other thing I don't really like is the shape of the hood. It sticks straight up, like a gnome or a wizard hat or something and looks pretty dorky. Also I have to constantly adjust it because it otherwise gets in my eyes and blocks my vision. I included a photo from the front and side to show the dorky shape and how it blocks my eyes.Overall, it works, it's fine. It fits and keeps me dry and not too warm. I wear it almost every day. I rate it 4/5 stars because my whole feeling about it is "it does its job and I didn't break the bank", but I don't love it by any means.
