Amazing, comfortable, cute!
I was not optimistic when I ordered this, but I needed something to wear under dresses. I started a new medication. I used to be a size zero and I can’t afford a full new wardrobe right now. For a corset, it’s extremely comfortable! I can wear it all day with no trouble. I can bend easily, it doesn’t shift or move, it doesn’t roll, and it’s actually really cute! None of the lines show under my clothing, I even went dancing at a nightclub for hours with no trouble! I am currently a size 4 and it allows me to easily fit into size 0 clothing around the waist. Adding shapewear shorts is the best combo! The corset goes underneath the shorts and then I’m good to go. I can wear anything! And I look amazing. Thank you so much Maidenform for designing a functional but also pretty, high quality, and well made corset option for women!

Love this waist trainer, highly recommend
Okay I absolutely LOVE this!! Love, love, love it! I wasn't expecting much but it's legit the most comfortable waist trainer I've ever worn. I usually wear a L and sometimes XL. My waist is 36 inches and hips 44. I sized down to a medium and I'm glad I did. The material feels cooling and smooth against my skin. Not hot at all. Even though it's tight, I hardly notice it's on. I don't want to take it off at all. I have weird sensory issues too and feel hot and uncomfortable easily. It's also long enough, when I sit down the bottom sits just above my pelvic bone and top about an inch underneath my bust. It is sooo pretty too. I can't believe it was only $15. I'm defffinitely buying more. Highly recommend, great product!!!Edit: I just measured my waist with it on and it's taken off a full 2 1/2 inches with it on. My waist is 36 inches without it and 33 1/2 with it!

Nice medium strength girdle
I purchased this in the size medium at first but returned it and got a size small becasue i was so confused as to what size i needed. I have a 31 inch waist. I have extra skin and belly fat from two pregnancies. I am 5"4 130lbs. not fat just issues with my midsection becuase i have back injuries so situps and scrunches are no goes for me. The medium was too big. I know this because it didn't hold anything in. It was comfortable but ineffective. The small held me in nicely, and gave me a decent shape. I was able to wear it for about 5 hours and then it started to bother me on my left side because i did't put it over my bra. I put it under my bra the first time i wore it. I won't do that again. Definitley put it over your bra for comfort sake. This corset also provided a bit of push up in the bust area which i appreciated. The first day it was too much because i already had a pushup bra on so i had to lower my bra and that is why i put it under the bra. The next time i wore it i didn't wear a push up bra and i wore it over the bra, Much better. I always dread back fat that girdles give you but this one is so long in the torso that there is no back fat, that is a good think; it is all covered up. I did have to put on a camisole because the fasterner part showed through my dress without it. I did read another reviewer say to put the fastener in the back. I wil try that next time. The boning didn't show through, just the fastener. I do wish that there was another column of fasteners to tighten of loosesn. If i gain/loose weight, I will have to buy a different size. this is a nice medium strength girldle. other than those few things I really like this corset for the price. I purchased this with my own money and I bought it full price and i would purchase another in black if they had my size.

Does the job but very uncomfortable
Not sure how women used to breathe in their corsets. This definitely nipped my waist in and got rid of my muffin top but I was very uncomfortable wearing it.

Post-partum lifesaver
Following my second pregnancy, I realized something was wrong when my stomach was still huge weeks after giving birth and my back hurt just from holding my baby. I realized that I had a 7 finger wide diastasis recti (and I'm not huge - 5'4, 120 lbs) and major loose abdominal fascia. I guess my 8 lb babies pushed my abs to the outer limits! Of course I researched every waist reducer out there. I ended up purchasing the Tupler Technique DVD and waist support, the Squeem in medium, and the Flexees by Maidenform in size medium (I was about 130 lbs with like a 38" waist at the time and it was perfect for me post-partum wise). I'm sure the Tupler Technique has great merit, but I wasn't able to commit to it with 2 little children and the waist support pushed my organs down, putting pressure on my already weak pelvic floor. The Squeem was much tighter and harder to fit in / put on. The cheapest option, Flexees, worked the best for me. It gave me back support and put my tummy back where it belonged so I could fit into my work clothes when I had to go back to work 3 months postpartum. It was easy to slip on over my hips (I would connect the corset pieces and then put it on feet first). Honestly, I don't know what I could have worn the 6 months following my pregnancy without this - people would have thought I was 20 weeks pregnant. Although the corset snaps showed through on clingy fabrics, you can always put on a cami over it to help hide it. What a small price to pay to be able to go out in public and have your tummy match the rest of your body! For you gals out there with a severe diastasis, it took a long time for me to get better. The jury is out on belly binding, and I'm not sure if wearing this corset made me not use my ab muscles as much and delayed healing, but I felt like I needed it for protecting my back and helping me lift my baby and toddler. I stopped wearing it regularly probably about 7 months post-partum. I felt like I could finally sit up in bed without having to turn on my side about 10 months post-partum. Now, at 14 months post-partum, my core is still very weak and looks pretty awful. I really hope I can do a tummy tuck after I finish breastfeeding, as I think that is really the only way to get my abs where they need to be.Other people are different and have had great success with other techniques, but for someone with a severe diastasis on a budget, I wish I had just started with this.
