Perfect if you have dry. frizzy hair but don't want crunchy, wet look
I have dry hair that frizzes and stands straight up if left alone. Think Kramer from Seinfeld. I used to have to use mousse or gels to keep from looking like a vagabond, but didn't really want to have the curls called out or the hair to be crispy or wet-looking. This product is perfect. My hair stays in place and looks healthy for as long as I can keep my hands out of it. It comes out as a liquid of water consistency. But a half-palm full, run through wet hair and left to dry on it's own is perfect. This is the only product I use outside of shampoo and conditioner, and if it ever goes away, IDK what I will do.

More healthier & managable hair
Used a sample previously & loved so much bought a larger btle. Nourishes hair, taming my frizzy & wirey hair. Needs to be used with the shampoo & conditioner to work effectively. Need to either use on each section of hair as style or style quickly as it sets 'very' quickly. Great product.

Great product that rinses clean
I have tried for years to find the right products for my curly hair - haven't we all?! - and I have finally settled on this, in combination with another Jane Carter product (Curl Defining Cream). My curls are somewhere between 3a and 3b and tend to be weighed down easily. I also stopped using shampoo and conditioner on my hair about six months ago (in favor of a roughly weekly baking soda wash and green tea/cider vinegar rinse). Because of that, I needed to switch to products that didn't need strong detergent to get them out of my hair (i.e. anything with silicone). This product is (part of) the answer. When I first tried it, I found it hard to evenly distribute it through my hair without using too much because it's so liquid-y... so I tried the Curl Defining Cream and had the same problem for the opposite reason - it was too thick and I ended up using too much and weighing my hair down. Now I mix the two together in roughly equal parts and I have the perfect hair product. No overwhelming scents to conflict with my perfume, either. Best of all, there are no nasty chemical ingredients here. Hooray!!

Just awful stuff...
I so wanted to like this and had taken ages considering buying it. However, the experience was a disaster from beginning to end. Firstly, the smell is dreadful (artificial strong herbal sort of medicinal) but I didn't wash off as so hoped that, as Jane Carter claims in her video for the product, that my hair once dried would resemble my hair wet. Hell no! My hair turned out frighteningly dry, frizzy and full of knots. I usually wash my 3b curly hair twice a wk but having slept on this I just had to rewash it was so dry couldn't bear to touch it. This stuff sucked the life and moisture out of my hair. I've gone running back to my Moroccanoil curl defining cream which though expensive at least smells divine.

A little bit goes a long way
This was my first time trying this product. I have 3b low porosity hair and this works magic for my curls. I have been using it for about a month. I apply it following my leave in conditioner and it gives a nice medium hold without being crunchy and gives a natural shine. I highly recommend
