Really great budget backpacking tent
Bought this for a trip to the Boundary Waters. Previous trips I had been using a cheap and very small backpacker tent. While it worked well I was really tired of not having any space. I got the green 3-4 person. This tent is compact, fairly light, and worked wonderfully for me. I was able to fit a twin sized air mattress in it, along with my gear and I had tons of free space in the tent. My travel buddies were quite jealous of how luxurious I was sleeping in the Boundary Waters. It rained for a few hours on our final day and the tent was completely dry inside. I didn't don't even close up the sides better. Note how the fly stretches out with open space on each side and two doors. The doors were awesome for putting gear in for quick access. Great airflow with this design. Only two minor negatives for me - the door zippers did get caught a few times, and one particularly buggy night I had my door stuck for a minute until I could work the zipper free. Other minor issue is that if you are going to use lines to secure the tent, there are a lot of them? Not sure if that is a negative as it also really stretches the tarp part out and away from the tent. I spent a stupid amount of time researching cheap backpacking tents on Amazon before purchasing, and felt I made a great decision buying this one

Great bang for buck. Tent worked great for 2021 Elk camp in 35-50 degree temps. Stayed Dry in rain.
I went with the 4 person tent for 2 adults using sleeping bags on top of blow up twin sized air mattress. Tent has exit door on 2 sides so we didn't have to climb over one another to get in / out. We hung a tent light from top loop and used the side bags for glasses, chapstick etc. Easy to set up, and I used a few extra stakes just in case. I bought a slightly oversized foot print and used that as well. I set the tent up before Elk trip and sprayed entire tent with waterproofing spray, $7 just for preventative. Had a rainy day / night and no leaks. We aired tent out daily from condensation. Over all a great value for $100 ish! Very light weight for the size. No way could 4 sleep in this 4 man tent. But perfect for 2. It's only 2 lbs heavier than my more expensive 2 man tent.

Well made tent with a few design flaws
I do a lot of backpacking, canoe camping and a little car camping and own and use a lot of tents. No tent is perfect, which is why I have 6 or 7.I bought this tent for use canoe camping. After putting it up in my living room, I reluctantly decided to return it in favor of the $50 more expensive and 2 lb. heavier Alps Lynx.Specs: 4 person XL green, like most this really means roomy for 3 people.6 lbs. 10 oz., This is very light for a tent of this size. Much lighter, and it would cost 4 times as much.15 thick, long aluminum stakes, for some uses these could be replaced with lighter stakes, and you could get away with carrying 8 to 10 stakes, saving maybe 10 oz. Most cheap tents come with cheap steel stakes, so this is a plus.Pros: Well made, seam sealed, aluminum stakes and poles, very cheap, quite light.Cons: For my purposes the most important flaw is the use of the 9mm poles. I just don't think it would hold up in a heavy wind. I have a similarly sized Kelty tent with much beefier 11mm poles. In one thunderstorm it blew so hard that the tent was only 2 feet tall. This tent comes with numerous guy lines and stakes, but they are both time consuming to put up and in windy river/lakefront areas, sand and rock are common meaning you will only be able to get about half the stakes to hold.Has a few ties involved. It would save a little frustration if they were replaced with clips.Bathtub floor only comes up about 6 inches. Most great tents have at least 12 inches. Since the fly isn't full length, this means sometimes a little water will splash in, and dust and sand may get in. Also compounds the wind problem. Not in love with the awing style door. Some people will like it.Sack is too small. Just get a bigger one.Best use: If you aren't rich and/or are new to backpacking, or car camping this should make an excellent light, compact 3 man tent for backpacking or car camping. Sooner or later you will encounter one of the design flaws mentioned above. In that case you will have stories to tell. Lewis and Clark's men went several years with no more than a blanket, so obsessing about tents is over rated. Not to mention you bought it for about the price of a motel room, so you can afford to upgrade.

Great tent!
I originally bought the 4 person tent for my family of 4 to go backpacking. We ended up not being able to go on our planned trip, but I was able to take it on my own on a different trip. I love how light the tent is. It is just as light as my brothers' two man tents. It is also really roomy with plenty of room for 4 people. This tent is super quick and easy to put up, it took about 5-10 minutes to get it completely set up and staked down. On the trip it rained pretty hard and not a drop of water got inside. I would not hesitate to buy this tent again. I may end up buying this tent in one of the smaller sizes for trips I take on my own as I do not need so much extra space when I am alone.Edit- I still love this tent. I just took another trip this time with my kids and I can now verify that it has plenty of 3 people plus gear or 4 people with gear in the vestibule. Excellent purchase!

Best tent i've bought yet.
love how compact and light it is for a 4 person tent. the screen around the tent is a strong mesh and unlikely to rip from branches etc.. the floor of the tent is super thin but tough which is a good thing for weight and rough ground although i recommend getting a footprint for this tent. the aluminium poles it came with are nice and strong and i was personally impressed. the fly is super easy to put on and did have a struggle what so ever. the tent stakes it came with are also light but super strong. the L shape makes stretching out the fly super easy. after i set it up in nice sunny weather it later rained for a few hours after so i went to check the tent and found it was 100 percent dry on the inside even with the ventilation vents open. i spent a night in this tent at the beach and could not be happier with it. it rained pretty hard at night and i woke up completely dry!

Very good
I really like how compact it is once closed inside it's bag, it's a 3/4 (bit too small for 4 people in my opinion) persons tent compact as a double. I use it to go camping with my motorbike and it fits perfectly inside my side pannier. I've used it also under the rain and not a drop reached the inside.Once you learn how to fold the 2 layers this tent becomes perfect. If you're looking for something light, compact, waterproof and yet spacious, I highly recommend this tent.
