This is the REAL DEAL!
I’m so thrilled with this pomade. I’ve tried others that cost twice as much but don’t work nearly as well. Really gives my hair lift, hold and flexibility without any greasy feel or flaky residue. My hair looks and stays soft and styled all day. Great product.

Great for medium-short hair
I have medium-short hair, and my use is just getting the hair kept in place (no fancy-hipster creative hair sculpture). This works great, similar to TIGI bedhead workable wax. Can be used on damp or dry hair.I use both:- waxes, ready to use and quick to apply (on damp hair, daily use), or- clays, that need to be warmed in hand and applied cautiously not to have residues in the hair, at the right dose, since a too high amount or the use on wet hair may result in a shine effect (when I have time to dry my hair, and want really perfect matte result). I personally prefer clays. My waxes ranking (damp or dry hair, matte finish):1 - L'oreal Clay 5 (despite the name, it's a wax - matte and strong hold)2 - L'oreal Poker paste 7 (matte and very strong hold, not reworkable. Great for formal events)3 - Tigi bedhead wax (matte and strong hold)4 - Osis+ Flexwax (matte and medium hold). This is the same identical to 3D-Men Texture Clay (Osis+ Flexwax is the new branding). Versatile, but I need more wax than the Tigi one to have similar results, and the holds does not last all day long)My (real) clays ranking (only on dry hair, real matte finish unless too much is used):1- Sebastian Craft clay (nice earthy smell that my gf doesn't like)2- Layrite Cement clay (ok product similar to the texture and workability of sebastian craft clay, but I don't really like the strong vanilla smell, that my gf likes.)Other things I tried (but do not work for my purposes):- Paul Mitchell tea tree styling gel (great gel that does well his job, that is: very strong hold and shiny finish, not what I want)- CHI molding clay (it's a wax): doesn't hold, sticky, bad product, don't buy!- L'oreal Men Sculpte 3 (it's a fiber paste): low-medium hold, medium shine and gives volume, definitely not what I'm looking for! May be ok for short hair to create spikes, not to hold a clean medium-short haircut.(Aside of the smell, this is the same identical as L'oreal women TecniArt 5 Web)Overall:- my wax choice would be L'oreal Clay 5 or Tigi bedhead workable wax (great bang for the buck)- my clay choice would be Sebastian craft clay (expensive)Hope it helps!

Only product that works on my thick hair
I have thick, wavy hair which has a mind of its own. A small amount of this product allows me to style it.

LOVE IT!
Not since John Frieda Spun Gold Shaping Balm has a product worked this great on my short, spiked hair. Although it is totally different than the balm, it is a fabulous product that holds and does whatever I want it to do. I don’t need much to style and it stays styled even in my convertible!! The smell is subtle too not like some of these products today. I’m so happy I found it!!!

Fantastic cream wax!
This stuff is AWESOME! So light and creamy, goes in easy, and styles right away, giving volume, thickness, crazy texture and massive hold! All that, while washing out super easily!Tried so many high end waxes & clays.. But they were either too shiny or heavy..This has a matte effect, and simply works super well!I also like their mighty matte wax, but that one has more of a "dry matte" finish and it's a bit more difficult to work it into your hair. But still super awesome!I feel this flexwax is a bit easier to use though. Both are fantastic products!
