Wax free, great undercoat for almost any finish
A previous reviewer said "it would be meaningfully better if it was dewaxed". However, this is wax free. It states on the back of the can that "spray shellac is 100% wax-free" and can be used as a sealer under polyurethane and other finishes. Perhaps they were confusing this product with the non-spray version that comes in quart size. I use it to seal wood before epoxy coat and it works great to reduct bubbles and color runs.

Works great!
This is so easy to use, it works great for sealing laser cut wooden items, and finishes them with a nice look. The fumes are pretty bad, so if you use it I recommend using gloves and a mask. Lastly, I love how fast it dries (in roughly ten minutes).

Great product for furniture flippers
Works great! I love that it hardly darkened the color of my dresser. I usually lighten the pieces I work on and have struggled to find a good top coat that doesn’t change the color.

Florida has gigantic pinecones. Found some and sprayed them with this. Sealed them perfectly. Nice shine.
