Travel
W recently went to Australia and New Zealand.. These countries are very particular about the sunscreen that goes in their ocean water. This was approved. The coverage goes on as white with the zinc and covers well. 3 weeks later with a UV rating of 10-12 and even in the hot sun of the outback...I never had the slightest burn. I have very sensitive skin and this was the best sunscreen.

First off when I spray this product my eyes not burning, no fumes smell. This has no smell feel light on the skin this will now be my to go sunscreen. Glad I switched to mineral based sunscreen.

Love this sunscreen, very effective
We used this on a recent cruise. It's reef safe. It worked very well and we would use it again.

Did not work on me
I cannot say whether it was the fact that this is spray on or if it is the brand itself due to the fact that it was my first time using both. But I bought two cans for my caribbean cruise last week. I sprayed liberally and repeatedly throughout the days in the sun because I am naturally quite pale and do burn otherwise. In the past spf 50 sunscreen lotion has been good enough that I don't burn but with this product(which came highly recommended for being reef safe) I burned so bad on all my exposed skin it hurt to walk. I got a different brand for my face(one that does clog pores) and that performed great, my face and neck are completely fine. So I will not recommend this to anyone based on my experience.

This is a great, if expensive sun screen that isn’t sticky or oily and it doesn’t leave a white cast
I’m a big fan of of spray sunscreens but my favorite- NoAd - left the market years ago. The other brands I’ve tried tend to either be oily feeling with a long lasting residue or they show a white cast to the skin from the mineral sunscreen. This one goes on great and does neither. The spray goes on well, absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel oily or sticky. I also don’t detect any white residue such as you get from mineral sunscreen screams and lotions. If it wasn’t for the fairly high price, this would be perfect.Update 9/20/24 I took off one star for this issue. While I don’t intentionally get sunscreen in my eyes it does happen. With this product I find it irritates my eyes more than most and the problem can occur hours after application. For example, I put the sunscreen on my face almost 12 hours ago. I just put in eye drops and as I was wiping away the overflow I accidentally rubbed some of the residue sunscreen (which I can still feel on my face) into my eyes. It stung and impaired my vision for several minutes. This has happened several times and only occurs on those days when I have applied this sunscreen. My regular face care products from companies such as Aveeno and CereVe don’t cause the same problem.

Works Great - May work to stop gnats also
Took this to the southern Utah desert. Worked great, only applied once a day, no burns and really not much darker after 3 weeks in the desert. Yes, it goes on like white spray paint. Rub it in and yes, you will be left with a white sheene. It is zinc oxide, that stuff is white and effective. Really would make more sense as a cream or liquid lotion. As a bonus, this stuff may work for biting gnats. There were plenty of cedar gnats in the desert. My partner used a different sunscreen, she had gnat bites. I had very few gnat bites and none anywhere I applied Blue Lizard. Maybe they don't like me anymore, maybe it is the Blue Lizard/zinc oxide. I watched them land on me and leave again without biting.

If the can does spray, it works great.
We bought these to take on a Caribbean cruise. One stopped working after 1 spray and I can't return it because I bought them way in advance of the cruise. The can that did spray correctly did keep me from getting burned & I am very fair skinned.
