I bought this Kreg KHI-Hinge Concealed Hinge Jig with my own cash about a year ago and have used it several times. I build my own kitchen cabinets and grew up doing cabinetmaking and finish carpentry. So, I am fussy about the quality of my tools.I'll never go back to drilling European hinge cup holes on a drill press. It's much easier to take this jig to the doors than wrestle a door onto a drill press. Very easy to assemble, adjust, and use. And, it durable enough. The 35 MM Forstner bit cuts very nice, clean holes. Clamp it down with a quick release Kreg clamp or your old favorites like Bessey or Jorgensen.I really like this jig and recommend it.

Great tool for making it easy to install new cabinet hardware. I was doing a kitchen cabinet facelift and added easy close hinges. This Kreg tool made it so easy to do.

It's nice to have and makes work easier. My only with is that it had multiple pilot hole placements. For some of the hinges I have the pilot hole does not match the screw hole. Different manufacturers/standards I guess.

Easily cut new holes for IKEA hinges. If you're making your own fronts it's probably worth getting a cheap front from IKEA to take measurements off. I found conflicting measurements online and the cheapest front is only $10-15.

I have used other Kreg items in the past and was pleased with the quality. I needed to install some soft close hinges and looked on Amazon for drilling fixtures. The other brands were close in price (one was actually only $15). I decided to spend the extra $12 for something I felt may offer more quality long term if I needed to use it again. The fixture is well built. I found the Fostner bit was sharp enough for the pine cabinet doors I worked with. Some reviews mention it being a bit dull. I installed 40 hinges with zero issues. The only thing the fixture lacks is the 1/16" drill bit required for the hinge mounting. They should include two of those and provide a place under the fixture plate to store them. They have a slot for the hex key provided and they could add the drill bits next to that. Good fixture for the price point. Made quick work of installing the hinges. Would be very tedious to lay it all out by hand.
