Great Product
Filter works really good, I’m pretty rough on mine, I keep a few in rotation as I swap them out once a week and scrub with a toothbrush to clean between uses.

My local home improvement stores did not stock. Price was reasonable.

Exact Rainbird OEM Replacement Part - 200 Mesh Replacement Filter Screen
This filter is a Rainbird OEM replacement part. Inserted into the plastic filter housing, which you already have if you are ordering this part, is very useful for keeping your sprinkler heads free of incoming debris. This 200 mesh screen is much finer than the plastic basket screens found in sprinkler heads. The downside is that it is thin and somewhat delicate. You also must remember to clean it at some interval. The stainless screen is washable. It should be cleaned occasionally, as needed, or it will plug and the water pressure will rip a tear in it. Our development uses reclaimed water for irrigation and it is much dirtier than tap water. After cleaning the screen every month without getting much debris out, I waited over 6 months; hence my ordering this replacement. I would rather clean a single filter for the entire irrigation system than multiple screens scattered about the yard. I highly recommend this type of filter for anyone that needs to keep incoming debris out of their irrigation system.

Need to be metal screen
My well water has little rust colored pebbles in it and they wear holes in the plastic mesh screen

Only lasted for a season
If any debris builds up it will split. To be fair, our water is secondary so maybe it has more dirt and crud in it, but I would like to find a sturdier filter... It will do the job, you may just have to replace it every year or two.
