Highly recommend for your first ukelele!!
I bought this ukelele to play where i work with children . In the reviews i read people thought the frets were sharp; i find them to be fine with no sharp ispots and can play with ease. Another review said the tuner doesnt work but again, no issues there and it works just fine. Maybe it was luck of the draw for those people: kind of like anything that you buy anywhere even if you choose the box yourself off the shelf i just began teaching myself january 2020 and this ukelele has been fun to play so far. It has a brighter sound than a blue tenor ukelele i recently bought to match my blue guitar. I prefer tenor sounds but this one was half the price to use at work and the children love it. The case and tuner comes in handy too. Highly recommend for beginners! Strings were good and easily stays in tune.

Beautiful ukelele, for beginners and more advanced players
I'm a beginner on ukulele, but have played other instruments for many years. I was looking for a midrange instrument instead of purchasing a bad beginners and upgrading later. This ukulele fit my requirements perfectly. It is a comfortable size (concert) and very good sound quality. The frets are NOT sharp, it is easy to tune and is comfortable to hold.It seems to fall out of tune easily, but I carry it in my car and it hasn't had enough time to settle. If kept at home and given time to settle it may be better. It has a cute design on it as well, which caught my eye. It lets my ukulele stand out and makes it a bit more fun for the children I play for.It comes with a soft case and a tuner and is great value for money. A lot of other kits seem to offer lots of items for more money and you get a worse ukulele. This kit is all you need. A good ukulele, a bag and a tuner.

Amazing instrument
Greatest "I'm stuck at home because of the pandemic" purchase I've ever made. I've learned over 8 songs that I serenade my long distance girlfriend with through calls, and I'm in the process of learning Conan Grey's Heather to feel something again. It's fun, sounds great for its value, great for beginners without fear of really damaging it because of its great price. I have lost all feeling on the tips of my left fingers, so now I can play without crying in pain. Just crying in pure unadulterated emotion.

Great value for money
First impression: This is a great uke for the money. For $59, I did not expect much but this little concert uke has a solid spruce top and electric tuner-pickup. Strings are Aquila nylguts, not some no-name set. From the photo, I expected the design would be printed on the top. However, it is actually etched into the wood which looks good though I don't know if this might weaken the top. Action is nice and low so no adjustment is needed to nut or bridge. Build quality and finish are decent. My only knock is that the fret ends are unfinished and sharp enough to scratch. I will have to file them down, a tedious task but worth the effort to make the uke perfect for my purpose. If those who don't mind putting a little work into this uke, I think most will be pleased with it as a great starter instrument. BTW, you will also have to supply your own batteries for the pre-amp.

Super impressed
I didn't have super high expectations for it given the price and everything that is included but they have been blown away. It sounds amazing and has all of the necessary accessories (bag & tuner). Perfect size for my 2 year old daughter, although it's a little early for her, so I've been playing it mostly. Easy transition from guitar.Update: if the tuner stops working, try removing and replacing the battery.
