We are using 15 different globes throughout the property. Mostly indoors, but some outdoors. About 80% work well. The 3-4 different globes that aren't working well is not because of the globe. The potted plants soil appear to be too fast draining, so even though the soil is moist, the water drains through the pot fairly quickly and the globes do not work well here. The other item we found is if the pot is too root packed, then this won't work either and we have to repot the plant. If the pot has an adequate root to soil ratio and the soil is moist, the globe appears to be working well.

The clear plastic quality is OK based on the price, and the plastic small ones are difficult to fill with water

I bought this as a last resort to trying to eliminate the stupid fungus gnats. I tried everything, and I mean everything, from changing the dirt, to adding rocks, the sticky tape, the mosquito pellets, cinnamon...nothing worked! The only way to control those pests is to make sure that the top part of the soil stays dry, and this was the solution. An added bonus is now my plants can drink at their own pace; when it empties, I fill the bulbs up again; no more over or under watering! A win-win for all.

I’m sure they work for some people but they just drained right into the plant, even after the soil was already wet. I may have done something incorrectly.

We left for Alaska for two weeks and I used these bulbs in my many houseplants and they all looked fine when we returned home! I watered all the plants well and put in the bulbs the day before leaving and the plan worked perfectly.

I love the on-time shipping, and the items look exactly like the image. I appreciated that it came with various quantities of bulbs in different colors and sizes. The material is plastic, but it's thick and durable.

As with other reviews (wish I had read them earlier!), these watering globes are not worth the price/risk to plants.Some of the globes never seemed to empty (I believe this is due to the fact that when inserting them into the soil, the soil clogged the tube?), while others fully emptied out (except for the water droplets left at top of tube).There seems to be no reason for the inconsistency as I watered the plants before inserting the tubes, so one would expect the drainage rate to be relatively the same for plants receiving the same amount of sun each day.I am going to give these one more try next vacation time, but am quite disillusioned as I have yet to figure out how to remove the dirt that has clogged the tubes from last time...Is there some trick to making these work better? (Maybe some instructions on proper insertion so as to avoid clogging tubes?)

I have quite a few and it's easy for my plants as I water them all at the same time

Product arrived this evening and when we opened the envelope packaging noticed the gloves were damaged.

I bought a bunch of these and I saw the reviews but I didn't think there would be too much of an issue, I mean these are fairly straightforward right? Well I was definitely wrong! Some of them emptied out immediately it looks like and some were still full (meaning that there was no water flow at all). I'm disappointed but I guess I got what I paid for.
