I have two Joyo wireless receivers for my mixing board and only the first two channels have compression. I need this adaptor to raise the receiver on channel two so they could fit next to each other. Is perfect height to solve the problem.

Used this as bag mixer xlr jack extension to make it easier to cable/uncable. So far so good. Also fits fully inside the closed side pocket. Seems secure so far, and no problem removing it when needed.

This is just what I needed. I have a preamp with an xlr input that suddenly had a problem with the push release. It would not let go of the cable. The unit is no longer in production, the manufacturer was bought by another company and they don't make the replacement parts anymore. The XLR jack had a unique rear design specifically for that board. The connection and signal is no problem but I had to sacrifice a cable and those are easily replaceable. This adapter is perfect, now I don't have to worry about the cables and I can live with the new adapter being stuck on there. Thank you!

Worked as planned by extending my cables together

I was dealing with a hanging piece of (lightweight) equipment from my Mic, and this Adaptor allowed me to have the equipment attach more directly without having to worry about it swinging, or getting tangled on something else.

For the price, these adaptors are OK and they work. Use of the word "Silver" in the product description should say "Silver Coloured - Does not contain any actual Silver." One look at the price and you know that it is bait.The housing material is cheap, most likely pot-metal to give the adaptors some weight so they "feel" like you got something for your money. But that's OK. The "Silver" is a baked-on enamel, and you can tell instantly that it is a mass-produced Chinese product. The two halves of the housing don't have a finished seam,I have a background in electronics and have a functional, working knowledge of material conductivity. I have similar knowledge of balanced audio signal transfer using XLR connectors. Typically, a sound engineer, of even an acid metal-headbanging, anarchist blackgaze crustpunk guitarist, wants a reliable XLR connector that will not corrode or cause high-impedence, noisy cable connections.Here is my problem with these adaptors: The contact material is junk. I doubt they will last very long due to buildup of oxides on the pins. But that's OK, because an informed buyer knows that Chinese products are about how they *appear*, specifically in an image on a website that sells them.I would recommend that even if you are a Gothic, extreme-sludge, blackened screamo, sicko speed-metal death thrasher bass player, you should probably double your XLR adaptor budget and get some decently made components. Some things are OK on the cheap, but not audio connectors. No.Otherwise - I have two adaptors to part with.

Great price! great buy! exactly what I needed to extend my podium mic I tried to purchase another one but they sold out since yesterday! Will keep checking to purchase another one!
