Great helmet
Very nice helmet. Fits well, though I up-sized slightly "off chart" after trying one on locally. Interior padding is very comfortable. The photochromatic shield is amazing. It really does work wonderfully reacting to lighting conditions, and never fogs (to clarify, I got the Qualifier DLX Mip, though the listing currently shows Gloss Black as the standard Qualifier). I questioned the worth of the breath deflector, but after removing it to try riding without it I've been convinced. It really does work. All in all, a very nice helmet at a very reasonable price. Worth the price difference for the DLX vs standard Qualifier just for the light sensitive shield, but it also includes Mips safety, breath deflector, and chin dam.

Great helmet
At the sub $150 price I paid this is a great helmet! Ventilation is solid, comfort is good, it feels like great quality too. The visor is definitely a nice touch, but it's not what the first generation was. I have the original visor with my bell race star carbon and it still sums as well as this one almost 10 years later. Bell are you reading these? Go back to the old visor!

Awesome helmet
This is my second helmet. The first helmet I bought was a Scorpion, a decent helmet, but I was sized wrong, as both myself and the sales person didn't know much about proper sizing procedures. I got a 2XL in that and discovered much later that was too big. After research and sizing the right way, I ordered the DLX Qualifier in XL. At first it seemed like a tight fit, but it was tight in all the right places, and over time it has conformed to my head and face, and no longer squeezes my jaw. I like that it's set up for the Sena communicator, but I haven't tried it out yet. The color scheme is awesome, I get comments on it all the time. It seems a little bit louder than the Scorpion I have, but I wear the plugphones ear plugs to listen to music and cut down on engine and wind noise, so it's not too bad. I think my favorite part is the transition face shield. It tints to a dark smoke in the sun, and at night it's clear, no more toting around an extra clear shield! It transitions fairly quickly too, so going into a tunnel it lightens up enough to see. It doesn't get dark enough to not wear sunglasses underneath though. I also didn't like how they covered up the pin up devil may care graphic with the DOT sticker. I ended up heating it up a little and peeling it off. See the picture for that. Overall, great helmet.

Comfortable helmet, transition is amazing, padding inside is a bit annoying
Bought a High Viz Yellow because I want to be seen on the road on my Honda Ruckus. Got the XL size. Fit is great, very comfortable. The transition lens is awesome, no sunglasses needed during the day since it gets tinted dark, no worries at night as it becomes completely clear. The padding inside needs to be better made, as the padding above my forehead pushes down towards the visor and I have to push it back up once I put the helmet on (and it's only a month old). The helmet gets poor airflow at low speeds, much better flow at higher speeds (40+). Wind noise is noticeable but doesn't bother me at all, but again, I'm on a Honda Ruckus and not driving on highways -- only backroads or 35 MPH roads. Overall, really happy with this helmet and have received many compliments on it ("wow that's bright" and "cool helmet") -- I'm just glad it's so visible.

Coming from a Shoei
My old Shoei helmet served me well but after years of use it was time for something new but didn't have the budget for a premium helmet. This Bell DLX helmet seemed to be the best bamg for the buck so I decided to try it. While I will say it isn't the same quality as what I'm used to the price reflects it. What I will say is this is a great helmet for the price. The the protint visor and brow vents are what sold me on it as well as a included chin curtain. It's neither super loud or super quiet. In terms of comfort. It is a SOB to get on and off when it's new but after a few rides it will start to slip on and off much easier and it's pretty comfortable once it's on. I'm tempted to gibe it 4 stars because of it's cheap feel and construction but I remember the price. I will give it 5 stars because of the features it offers for the price it's a great helmet especially if you can find one at or below $200. Great airflow, Mips and fully removable liner. It's great.

A lot of Value for the Price.
The Bell Qualifier DLX MIPS is true to size and fits as expected. Snug but comfortable with great venting for warmer temperatures and the Pro-Tint Shield is a great feature. Nice looking and light enough for long rides. Overall has great functions including well placed speaker pockets for Bluetooth devices. A lot of options for a helmet in this price range. This is my second Bell Helmet, my other Bell is the Pit Boss, both are a great fit for my head shape. Already have 500 miles on the Qualifier and am very happy.

Good but, shield does not work
Could be 3.5, the marketed visor is the disappointment. I've had this for a year riding 10000 miles in heat, cold, wet weather. The helmet is great for the price for sure. The vents do help with some fogging which is nice. There is some wind noise which I just listen to noise canceling head phones negating this issue. My main issue is the visor. It does not tint for me. It did for the first few months which was great. Now I have to wear sunglasses (I'm finally getting a dark and a separate clear lenses. My wife has the same helmet, her shield still works although she has probably only been on 3000 miles.

Good fit and value
I wore only Bell helmets years ago, and started using other brands due to lower cost. It’s good to be back! This helmet fits and looks great, it’s comfortable and not too noisy. Plus the self darkening shield is the clincher!!
