• This jewelry is Hand Crafted from the Tagua Nut found in the Ecuadorean rain forest, after we harvest the nuts (which is a main contributor to the preservation of its own) the nuts are left to dry for approximately 3 months then are handmade by fair trade local artisans from a small village off the coast of Ecuador. Tagua is also known as "Vegetable Ivory" it is bio-degradable, renewable and sustainable. The sale of this jewelry helps to support and empower local Ecuadorian artisans who make them by providing sustainable employment and economic growth. No two pieces are alike due to the natural properties and size of the tagua nuts. All pieces handmade with love in Ecuador.
