Beautiful Lenox as always for the Christmas holiday! I have a full Christmas set of dishes that are just wonderful even though we only use them mostly in December! I was thrilled to add these red rimmed holly accent plates to them this year. The plates are sturdy and the printing is of the usual Lenox quality. They are sized well for salad or dessert use. With the gold detail they are NOT microwave safe and I generally only hand wash metal rimmed plates even if they say they are dishwasher safe just out of caution. I love the timeless holiday patterns from Lenox and you can't go wrong with the holly accent plate set of six for the price - paired with even a solid color of red or ivory if you don't want to invest in a full holiday dish set or do not have the storage space. With care these will last and you can enjoy them while creating Christmas memories for many years!

This is a gorgeous 6-piece ivory porcelain accent plate set in the always-popular "Holiday" design by Lenox. The plates are the perfect size for salad, desserts, or appetizers - or stacked on top of a larger dinner plate for tablescape placesettings. The plates feature a red rim with gold trim and green holly leaf accent with red berries. They come inside of a branded Lenox red box with a mini warranty booklet. The plates are dishwasher safe, but they are not microwave safe due to the gold metal border. I will handwash them regardless because of the gold trim.The look of the plates is very elegant. However, upon closer inspection I noticed that 5 out of 6 plates in my box each had some sort of minor flaws. I have tried to photograph these and point them out as best I could. A couple of the plates had areas in the red border that were not painted, but were still clear-glazed over. This was not chipping but merely a failure to paint the entire rim red. Some of the gold edging was uneven as well and almost looked scratched straight out of the box. Four of the six plates had darker spots under the clear glaze that I thought was dust or debris at first, but it could not be wiped, "picked off", or washed off. They were all actually darker spots that make those areas of the plate appear dirty, but also cannot be cleaned away. The texture over these areas was a bit rougher as well - not completely smooth like the rest of the glazing. Because of this the plates look more like factory outlet or 'seconds' / returned dinnerware and not the fine porcelain expected from a traditional retail outlet.These flaws are still minor, however, and the beauty plus the Lenox name is worthy of a 4-star review.

Very pretty and festive dessert plates. The quality you expect from this company. Wherever it was warehoused they didn’t care for the packaging. The box is pretty rough. But they arrived undamaged

These plates are darling and added a nice touch of class to my Christmas dessert table! They are very high quality and have a beautiful intricate pattern. Perfect size for appetizers, desserts, luncheon and I even used for dinner since I enjoyed them so much! Would be adorable to use for a Holiday Tea Party and really any time to add a bit of fancy flair to your food. You won’t be disappointed with these!

These Lenox holiday plates are simply beautiful. The Christmas holly pattern is so simple yet elegant. They are the perfect addition to my holiday table. They have the same great quality of all Lenox products I have. The 8" plate size is great for displaying foods or treats or for me a perfect size for the table as my dinner plate. The trim is red, not gold as the regular set of dishes, but I love the red to show off the 'accent'. I am so happy to add these to my Lenox Christmas collection.
