I took this camping and it was pretty bright and easy to carry and even to hang up in middle of tent the settings are good and adjustable. The battery life last very long. My bf also had dropped it and it still worked LOL

I had a power outage and the batteries were dead in the one small camping lantern I could find. I decided to buy a couple new ones that were rechargeable. This one shows you how much charge it has when you turn it on, and not only can you adjust the brightness, it has two different kinds of light. Also, after fully charging it, it’s still at full charge months later.

It's hard to find a lantern for when the lights go out. I still want to read. This one is bright enough to allow you to read without straining your eyes!

Although I’ve only had it a few days, this lantern is performing as advertised; and much better than expected.It puts out just as much light as many of the liquid fueled lanterns I’ve used, with much less hassle.Thus far it appears well designed and made; charged quickly, ran longer than expected and claimed, and charged other items quickly as well.The knob is tight and turns well; without any play whatsoever; the metal handle performs as expected, the outer clear shield is thick and appears to be durable; as does the body of the device.If I could change anything, I’d have liked to seen the hollow base (used for charging cord storage) filled with more batteries, to get longer life out of this device… yet I’m not the designing engineer.I’d buy again.If you’re searching for a reasonably priced quality electric lantern, this would be it.

Wonderful lantern. Charges via USB-C, has two different light modes and the quality/fit is tops. I love the way this thing looks and it's not trying to be modern. It has a retro design without trying to hard.

I was pleased upon taking the lantern from the box. I feels substantial and very worthy of the price. The functionality is well thought out. I can't wait to take it camping!

I bought my first lantern one year ago and was so pleased with it I bought a second one here this summer.I recently charged both lanterns and went on a five night camping trip. The first time I turned one lantern on it would not illuminate, but rather gave a brief “flash” of light when the “on button” was about 1/3rd on. I fiddled with the on button, turning it on/off and testing settings for the on button. Nothing changed.I then tried the second lantern. Exactly the same problem. This common problem now meant the one-year old example and the new Summer ‘24 example were both non-operable.When I got home I again placed each lantern on the charger, just to see if the batteries had not earlier charged correctly. I fully charged both lanterns. Again I only got that brief “flash” of light and then the lanterns went dark on each lantern. The problems continued.I am now out over $72.00 for two non-operable lanterns. If I could I would give zero stars as my rating of this lantern.I am back to searching for a reliable rechargeable camping lantern which I can use for Fall ‘24 camping trips.Anyone else have this problem?Frustrated in California.
