Can this be used externally ?

The U6-PRO can absolutely be used in both outdoor and indoor environments, the only thing to be keen to observe when installing is any potential for water damage depending on how/where this is installed and if the Ethernet connection is in any way at risk of water ingress. But otherwise this has a weatherproofing rating of IP54

Does this come with or without cloud hosted controller, or is this self-hosted?

It can also be self hosted - but you need to be reasonably techy to set up and configure the controller. Normally you wouldn't bother for a single AP on a single site...

I need 5 of these, can the connect to each other and have a seamless roaming?

Yes. In UniFi dashboard there is a setting for each AP to ‘allow meshing’ this will ensure each AP hands over devices smoothly from one AP to another.
