So easy to use
Compact, easy to use. I really appreciate the bowl included to weigh ingredients. I keep it on tar with the bowl and use grams to measure ingredients for bread. Very easy to change for other recipes. Compact so I can keep it handy, put it on the refrigerator right next to a counter. Easy to clean. Has been accurate because the breads have all turned out perfectly. Shuts off when not in use. No problems in the months I have used the scale.

So far the scale is working well, and easy to use. I like how lightweight it is, and still seems sturdy.

Efficient, accurate, clean looking
This is a great purchase! It ‘s basically plug & play. It looks very nice, and is accurate from the first moment. Great value for the money. It’s compact so easy to store but also looks nice enough to keep in the open.

Great for Baking
The size of this scale is great. I like the fact that the included dish for the scale doubles as a cover for protection. It is pretty accurate and doesn’t seem overly sensitive. It performs well and the plate is metal so it adds to the durability. I use this thing weekly to measure ingredients for my sourdough bread. It’s lightweight and portable, I wish the screen was a bit brighter and the text was a bit larger, but other than that it is a decent scale for the price.

This is a nice scale for everyday use.
I cook from scratch and prep all of my food. Every day. I perfect and document my recipes by weight and not volume. Grams. I have used a handful of scales over time and I like this one. I am not nominating it for world's greatest scale or anything, but I find it to be dependable, convenient and about the right size for use and storage. This particular purchase is my second of this particular model. I bought the first in December, 2020. I bought the second, a replacement, in May of 2022.Pros:I find this model to be accurate and largely trouble free. It is the right size: Large enough to be convenient in use, small enough to squirrel away in a drawer. Batteries last for a long time (although I am not a fan of discount batteries).Okay, the cons/rants...1. I don't appreciate the auto-off function. Let's explore this for a second. What is the purpose of the auto-off function? Is it to save battery life? Is this scale really pulling so much energy that you have to shut the thing down in two minutes??? While I am sidetracked or distracted with something else? Maybe I am prepping something while I am measuring. Maybe my phone rings in the middle of measuring flour. The scale should not run the kitchen! Can we compromise? How about five minutes prior to shut down? How about a way to disable the auto-off function?2. In a perfect world, a scale would last longer than... how long did my first scale last? 17 months? The first scale started becoming unreliable--not inaccurate--and was making me nervous. (Yes, I changed the batteries. LOL.)-- The unit button didn't have the same feel over time, although I rarely used it in the first place because I almost always use grams. I speculate that, over time, ingredients found their way into the cracks of the button, but that is pure speculation. I am a borderline perfectionist and not a slob. A humble guy mislabeled as a curmudgeon because I dislike kitchen visitors who leave things in disarray. "Get out of my kitchen." The problem is not a result of abuse.-- The unit settings started to change on its own, causing me to reset it to grams more than it did early in the product's life.-- A couple of times, the scale shut off on its own, well before the two-minute cook's deadline, in the middle of my measuring, causing me problems. This is what prompted me to replace the first scale. The last straw. So, why would I buy the same product again? Well, you have to look at the factors involved, and I use the scale relentlessly, for everything related to meals. I weigh coffee beans for our coffee when I wake up. I keep using it, all the way until I, say, measure mayo, mustard, lemon juice and honey to make honey mustard dressing (the whole process takes less than a minute) as I wrap up dinner prep. And, yes, I use it to make the mayo, too. I even have a spare so that I don't have an emergency situation. So, the thing got a lot of use.Should I take the risk that someone else's scale might be better??? Or should I go with the the devil you know, so to speak? Meh... I think this scale is at least four stars. And while I have listed some cons, I kinda like the thing. Moderate "everyday" use in a typical household should be worry free... just don't leave that scale idle for two minutes!!! Grrr!!! LOL.

Accurate Scale for Tea
I bought this scale specifically for the accuracy of 0.1 grams, intending to use it when making precise measurements of high-quality tea leaves, matcha powder, and similar. It's fairly nice looking, fitting in well on granite counter tops and not wholly out of place next to porcelain gaiwans by way of being fairly minimalist. To start, the clear plastic bowl was a nice additional feature to save time and fits very snuggly, it prevents accidental spilling. It can be used to pour with enough accuracy that I don't worry about dropping any leaves. The scale itself seems accurate enough, but I've noticed a slight lag in the weight display updating when trying to adjust down after adding a bit too much, which can be slightly frustrating.Additionally, I've seen it happen at times when removing a few leaves and adding them back, that it displays a lower weight than starting with.Touching the scale with my finger to add a little weight and then removing it seems to reset the scale, and it will then display the original starting weight. My main goal is avoiding waste of ingredients rather than achieving a scientific level of accuracy, so the above behaviors are more minor mental annoyance than real concern as I'm unlikely to taste a 0.1 gram difference. For the price, only eight dollars more than scales that only have a 1 gram precision, I believe I'm getting my money's worth, but it probably wouldn't be my go to if precision was absolutely required. It's definitely removed my anxiety of wasting tea!

A great scale for baking and kitchen use.
As someone who loves to cook and bake, I've had the opportunity to try out the Etekcity 0.1g food scale, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed with its accuracy and ease of use.One of the standout features of this food scale is its precise measurement capabilities. It can measure weights up to 11 pounds with an accuracy of 0.1g, making it perfect for weighing out small quantities of ingredients like spices, herbs, or even medication. It also has an easy-to-read LCD display that shows the weight in grams, ounces, or pounds and ounces, making it easy to switch between units. The scale is also incredibly easy to use, with just two buttons that allow you to turn it on, tare it, or switch the units of measurement. It also has a sleek and compact design that makes it easy to store in a kitchen drawer or cupboard when not in use.Another great feature of the Etekcity 0.1g food scale is its versatility. It comes with a detachable bowl that's perfect for weighing and measuring ingredients, but it can also be used without the bowl, allowing you to weigh items directly on the scale's surface. The only downside to this food scale is that it's not rechargeable, so you'll need to replace the batteries periodically. But this is a minor inconvenience when you consider how accurate and easy to use it is.Overall, if you're in the market for a reliable and precise food scale that's easy to use and versatile, the Etekcity 0.1g food scale is definitely worth considering. It's a great choice for home cooks, bakers, or anyone who needs to measure ingredients with precision.

¡Excelente!

Accurate Kitchen Scale - Perfect for Baking
I've been wanting a good kitchen scale for some time now.Amazon has a good number of them, some cheaper than this one.I picked this one after seeing it used in a number of YouTube videos by an English Baker. After using it for several weeks, I am very happy with it's accuracy and ease of use.I would buy again.
