It works but...
I am riding a bike with a 750 watt motor. It has a 13.5 Ah (amp-hour) battery pack. I barely get 12 miles of riding at 20 mph. So, I bought this to increase my ride distance. I used number 12 braided wire to connect in parellel with my exixting battery and did recieve an increase but it was small. I will test the battery pack. Since this battery pack is supposed to be 100Ah added to my 13.5Ah pack I should get increased distance. We'll see.... It works but, I get about a third more of my total distance. This means that the batterypack is off by a factor of 10. Instead of 100Ah it is more like 10. So for the failure I must rate this as a ONE STAR. ! feel that the description is a lie. I can not reccomend this battery pack. In addition Amazon will not accept this for return! This is SO sketchy Amazon will not accept returns even though it is a standaed low powered Li-ion battery pack!Update: This battery pack uses three 13 cell strips to provide power. There are a lot of different cells with different power output. The best Amazon sells is 9.6 amps at 3.7 volts. A new cell will nominally output 4.2 Volts. 13 cells in a series connection equals about 54.6 Volts if at 1 amp, 54.6 x 1 = 54.6 watt hours, or if 10 amp 546 watt hours. With 3 strips in paralles the best output would be 1638 watt hoursl or 30 amp hours (AH). there is no way the cheap batteries in one of these packs can deliver 100AH!!! When measured I am seeing 3AH! Not 30 or 100 AH.. Measured output is 2.9-3 AH which speaks to cheap cells rather than high end cells. I can't help but point out that the people making these do not know math or electronics. This outfit earns one star!

Does not hold a charge
I have only used this with my bike once. Does not hold a charge or is the incorrect amp hours. Road 3 miles and my bike died. It should last longer.

this product does not exist there is no such thing as a 100ah 48v battery and certainly not at this price and sizeif it seems to good to be true… it is. why does Amazon even allow this?
