I am a woman with long hair, and a significant amount of strands fall out when I wash it. In the past, I have dealt with clogged drains that I then have to snake, plunge, and use multiple rounds of hot water, vinegar, and baking soda to unclog. I have tried many different brands and designs of drain catchers through the years, and find it hard to stick to using them because while they catch hair, they also don’t allow water to pass through once they have caught it. Not anymore!These catch all of my hair but also allow water to pass through easily, so I don’t have to stand in water during my shower anymore. Emptying them could not be easier—I just dump the contents in the trash (with other designs, I have had to pull my hair off of the catcher, which is gross and more time-consuming). They set right in the drain and don’t move, but are also very easy to take out to empty or clean. Cleaning is quick and easy with soap and a regular sponge. As far as I can tell, nothing is getting past it and going into the drain, and I have had these for about six months now. They also seem solid and I can imagine that they will last for a very long time. I only wish I bought them sooner!

Purchased these after looking at reviews. Needed an easier strainer or catcher in the bathtubs to catch hairs and such. I was not sure of the holes, but they work!! Not too large and catch all of the hair. Easy to clean and love the metal for easy clean and use. Had to push down into my drain hole to make it flat, but it worked and works!! Great price!!

We bought these to prevent hair from going down the drain in out bathtub. We would give this product a 4/5 stars because I have installed one of the strainers in the the kitchen sink and the other in the bathroom. The one in the kitchen sink is the reason I rate 4/5. ( I would give a 4.5 if possible) These are very sturdy, stainless steel strainer that are easily installed in the my drains. All you have to do is set them and forget them. Water drains easily and even the smallest things gets caught in them. Clean up is a breeze and they just wipe out. They are a little small for my kitchen sink so some food particles get around the edge, but it still catches 97% of the floaties that end up in the dish water. Overall, I would 100% recommend these strainers for bathroom or kitchen use, just be mindful of the size of your drain if you choose to use them in the kitchen.

Looks good and normal in a sink. Catches hair just like it's supposed to so I never have to worry about getting a clogged drain. Perfect size for my tub/shower drain, and fits easily over top of my sink drain as well. Easy to use and remove, and the drain function still works well.

The quality of the material is excellent. But it quickly clogs with hair. The holes are probably too small for use in a bath tub/shower. Might be ok if you are healthy and have short hair. If you are shedding long hair, the strainer will quickly cease draining.I drilled a few larger holes in the strainer and that helped. Be advised, that stainless steel is tough stuff to drill with cheap bits. Secure the strainer in a vise or with vise grips when drilling, because the edges are very sharp. Do not hold it in your bare hand.On the plus side, this strainer is really easy to clean. Previously I had one of those silicone strainers shaped like a mushroom. Worked good, but was not easy to clean.
