I purchased this software at a local retail store; and it came with a transfer cable which was not compatible with the two computers. I then tried a transfer over my WiFi network which also failed. I then ordered the proper cable from amazon which worked beautifully.

Best way to transfer data.

Cable was pricey. Software made it easy

I selected only 12 programs from a total of 25 to xfr from windows 10 computer to a new windows 11 computer. Only one program worked after the xfr on windows 11. Dissatisfied I choose to restore windows 11 computer to orginal condition. 5 days later I tried once more this time with only 2 programs to xfr. Only one worked so I gave up and choose to restore windows l1 computer to orginal condition. After inspecting the one drive none of the programs were completly removed. I even had to outlook to get it to work again on the windows 11 completer. Not a happy camper with this product. Even contacted Laplink help desk but they did not provide me with any help either as advertised. The cable to work just fine.

The combination of PCMover and a LAPLINK USB 3.0 super-speed transfer cable allowed me to quickly move all of my program applications and files, from an old Windows 10 computer to a new Windows 11 computer. The on-screen anticipated transfer time was two hours, but the actual transfer required approximately 20 minutes. Only my web browser's bookmarks did not transfer, so I will transfer them via a thumb drive.

I got a new computer and needed to move my files from the old computer to the new one. After reading the reviews I came to the conclusion that the Laplink app was worth the money so I went ahead and got it before understanding every thing I needed to know. I set it up to transfer the data and came back a few hours later to discover it was going to take a long time to move 2 TB of data - in fact it would take about 18 days. Got the cable, hooked it up and was done overnight. Don't mess with the null ethernet cable or the wireless connection - just get the cable and be done with it.
