A Really Better Nut
I never really thought there would be a difference in peanuts. These proved me wrong. They have a pleasing crunchiness , a great taste, and just the right amount of salt.

Excellent grown up peanuts for discerning palates.
These are peanuts for grown-ups, not kids.They have a more subtly complex peanut taste and are a less salty eating experience with a crunch you can't get anywhere else. Expensive but worth it.

They are fine, but not all that much better than supermarket peanuts
Been trying various brands of Virginia peanuts. They are good, but compared to Hubs or Whitleys these are a bit disappointing. I don't really see much difference between these and what I'd get at the supermarket.

Very expensive but delicious.
I've ordered these nuts twice now and love them. I ordered a competitive brand, however, with a larger quantity for a lower price. They aren't quite as good as Virginia but I do like the big can and the lower price. The difference in taste is minor.

Did NOT meet expectations
For years, I purchased tins of Virginia Diner peanuts as gifts for friends and clients. I was impressed with the quality of the nuts, as they were mostly whole nuts with very few halves and pieces,This was my expectation as I ordered the snack bags. My assumption was that this would also be the case, but the first bag I opened was mostly halves and pieces, with very few, if any, whole peanuts.To be fair, I reread the description, and there was no promise that it would be all whole nuts, but due to my past experience I assumed they would be. I’m unsure I’d this has ‘trickled down’ to the tins as well, and I’m unlikely to order a tin just to find out.So, I was disappointed in this order due to unmet expectations.If whole nuts are not an issue for you, you might be happy with this product.

Seeing 80% medium sized peanuts and mostly halves
These peanuts are yummy, crunchy with just enough salt! But if you are a connoisseur of Virginia peanuts, you would know that these are not extra large peanuts. There are many what I call small to average peanuts and mostly halves. Don’t call them EXTRA LARGE!
