True to Description in Size, Color and 100% Cotton
My newest GraceArt cowl / cloak arrived in completely sealed packaging, brand new, it came with 2 Fasteners, a small classic style Brooch & 1 Clasps (a locking pin) to secure the Cowl /Cloak closed.I have bought a few different colors un the last 2 years, Brown, Black and my new one is Rust Red. Graceart is a very accommodating company. In that they added several colors to their selection after I sent them an email with certsin color requests and color name recommendations that soon after they actually added to their line up. Im sad to say that it took me over 2 years to come back and buy one of these colors I asked for. And GraceArt team, I certainly will get more of those colors I requested in the near future! The picture I showed is an example of the brooches and the fabric color samples. Now keep in mind the Red Rust is brand new, but the picture of this fabric is not quite as good as the color in real life, but its close. Both the Brown and Black are Ive had over a year and they have been "Hand Washed" a few times. I have not washed them any other way except by hand, and hung to dry, and I personally would not put them in a wash with an agitator. In any case, after a few washes, they have barely faded at all, but some. For example the Black was Jet black and its not quite as dark as it was, but I like it better now that its worn in a little. The Rust Red color name option here, which is available, was a personal color shade request and Im so pleased they even used the color name I recommended, and its so cool to finally have bought have this color since I personally requested it!!!All of these cloaks, cowls are 100% cotton as stated or described in size, color and fabric material, and are in every way just as described in the post or better. The fabic is a single layer rectangular woven cotton measuring 230cm L x 139cm W, that is, 90.5 inches Long x 54.75 inches Wide (9cm or 3.75 inches wider than stated, but I considered it a good thing)They are all nice and quite soft! They are thin, but not transparent (unless held up to a bright light source) but they have a durable feel to the fabric as one would image for use in the hot sun to block the direct sun UV rays, or to provide a lightweight barrier from the elements, providing some warmth to the face, neck or upper body to keep some heat in, block from wind and dust / sand.Though it is not intended to be a very warm cloak, it does add a layer of comfortable warmth, and can serve as a scarf and a hood. I like that because I do not like to wear hats in the winter, and obviously they are warmer if you double the layers when you fold it once length wise before wearing. These cowls / cloaks are raw cut (unhemmed) as stated and confirmed as 100% natural cotton! When tested with a lighter, it burns, embers and smokes when a cut off test thread is burned. It does not melt or bubble as synthetic fabric would. These things are a simple, rugged, extra long and extra wide cloak, scarf, or Shamhag, and they are every bit what it says it is. And will last a long time with proper care.I do plan to buy more colors, as they have now added several other colors in addition to Rust Red, that I personally suggested, the others were, Urban Grey, Forest Green, Desert Sand. So I will be showing my appreciation by getting those ones too pretty soon. I felt these color names lent well to the post apocalyptic look and vibe. Its really cool that they used them on their product!Thank you GraceArt for adding my color requests, and using those names, thats so cool, I really appreciate it!!

Light and comfy.
I am satisfied with this shawl/scarf. It's light, cool, and a good color. It IS just a large rectangle of fabric. When I first came across it I thought I would just go out and buy some material of a similar fabric myself. Turns out it is larger than the standard width that you will find in most craft stores, and you are probably paying about the same or more. Everything I found was about 10$/yrd. So you might get something that will cost a little cheaper ($20-25 if you try to match the size of 230cm in length) but it won't be as wide, and they cut they fabric straight across, leaving a glaringly straight edge that doesn't look worn or weathered. The edges on this product don't look like they were just cut across with scissors, but rather tattered or frayed to feel more rustic. And mine came with 2 pins. 1 classic brooch and 1 more modern pin. Again, you're probably paying about $5 a piece at a craft store for those, so your not saving much money, if any.If you don't have the time to shop around, this seems perfectly adequate.

Good Fabric
The fabric is thicker than I anticipated and more quality made than anticipated. The accompanying pin does not work well - isn't sharp enough and doesn't quite fit enough fabric in to fasten. Also, be prepared to learn how to wrap yourself as it comes as just a plain piece of cloth you must fold yourself in the way that you'd like to use it.

Love it already!
I just received mine today and I went to try it on, with a little confusion that was easily solved by looking up and looking at the instructions again, I put it on and it fit perfectly and noticed it felt nice and warm. It feels coarse, but soft enough that it can be worn for everyday use. A perfect addition to my wizard costume AND for winter-wear when it comes back around. I knew about the small silver pin when I saw it and was a little confused about the smaller "old gold" looking pin that came with it and found out it was a brooch! Now it adds some more style to an already stylish shawl. Plus a little bonus that I wish more pins had, it has a lock on it to keep it from falling out. So wish more pins had this.TLDR: Fit well, nice and warm, great for costumes and winter-wear, and nice small bonuses included.

Fits great.
This item worked out perfect. Light and covers well , I use this cover when working with bees and it works well. Further, when I washed it the color did not run and it held together well. I like this Item.

sometime a sash is more than a sash
It maybe labeled as a Medieval Sash, but it makes a wonderful scarf, and to me so be it, a wonderful scarf.

Nice product
It was very good quality it came with a pin to hold it. But it just struggled to stay up with moving around. Kind of hard to keep in place.

Lightweight and color is accurate.
Another cosplay item that looks pretty much exactly like the ad! It's wonderfully light and gauze, but huge. Essentially, it's just a really long cut of gauze cotton. If you have a fabric store, you could probably get the same effect with a couple yards of fabric. However, I don't really have one of those nearby, and this worked out perfectly for what I have planned.
