Genius mop and bucket! 👍
This is just what I was looking for.1. I use it to dry my wet room walls and floor then pop the unclippable microfibre cloth head in the wash.2. I use it to clean my wet room walls and floor. The wring mechanism works well.3. I've used it on other floors to so I know it works on the surfaces I need it to. My wet room floor is slip proof and the mop gets into all the pits. It also deals well with my vinyl floors.4. I also use it to damp dust under my couch/bed after vacuuming which's extra reassurance for those with dust allergies. The mop seems pretty sturdy so overall I am delighted with it. After trying different types of mop. I'm sticking with this and I hope they don't change it so I can get replacement heads for years to come. 🤞

Great cleaning, quick drying
Love this mop. Absolutely first class cleaning on hard floors using just hot water. The empty bucket with wringer is quite light so you need to prop the mop when not in use I find. This is a minor point Vileda have made a mop pole clip in the past. That would be a nice addition

OK. Same Comments as Others
Similar experience to others. Overall 'good' product but note the following if considering: Handle is flimsy (make sure you tighten them properly btm). Bucket will tip if you press too hard to squeeze out the mop. Mop can remain pretty wet even after squeezing. Head can catch in 'squeezer' sometimes.

Ten Years Timeline of 3 Supposedly Identical Purchases
I first started using this set around 2010, before the electric steam mops, the iRobots and Neatos and the new robot mops took the world by storm by lowering their costs.Back then, the first set which I bought was tough, rugged and well made. It had a hefty bucket, and thick mop pads. The mop handle itself was a thick metal cylinder and the floor attachment could withstand a few years of knocking about. The newest offering I purchased a short while ago - though under this same product page, has totally been redesigned. It's no longer built to last. The metal mop pole is flimsy and weak, warped easily with daily use. The plastic floor attachment, where you attach the fabric pads, snapped to a corner. Luckily I still had my middle 2013 purchase's attachment stored away, so I managed to swap it.The rubberised buttoned flaps on the fabric pads are starting to crack and won't last much longer. Even though they're not washed in the machine very often. The floor attachment is never stored in water, I've always allowed it to dry after each use, yet the durability of this set has really decreased between the old and new models.Shame. As this use to be a perfectly quick go-to spillage cleaner.

Genius Cleaning
I discovered this design of mop and bucket working as a school cleaner. The design is similar to a Keck (flat) mop and fixes on to the mop head and handle with press studs. There are minute fibres on the head to 'scratch' away dirt and it is very lightweight. It is idle for 'spot' mopping but it can pick up heavier stains and ingrained areas. The only negative element is the design of the mop makes the head fold over to put in the specially designed bucket which has a 'slot' to squeeze out water, this is not easy at first, it does take some time to get use to, and if you are heavy handed with it, the bucket can tip over... and this mop is not designed for spills, or heavy duty water cleans. So I did curse at times using the ones at work. But I was still impressed because it was ideal for what I needed at home. I have three areas in my home that need mopping hall, kitchen and bathroom, but all three are small, so the string mops I used always seemed too heavy duty and the heads would start to smell a lot quicker so I would be throwing mop heads away on a regular basis. The beauty of this design is the press stud mop head comes off and you can actually machine wash it. No more smelling mop heads and a design that also means there is less water on the mop head so floors dry really quick. The mop heads do last quite a while before I need to replace them also, so I am also saving money. The more you use it the easier it becomes to collapse and squeeze the mop head and you find yourself keeping the floors 'spot' mopping after hoovering because it is so lightweight and compact. It is perfect for tiles and lamented floors but ideal for small areas such as caravans or flats.
