TNSO Q6 111, Bright White

This is the best flashlight I have ever owned. I originally purchased this last summer as a buy-one-get-one promo code deal, so I thought I would take a chance. By Christmas I bought one for my dad and my uncle, because it is so fantastic. I have used it in the following situations in the last year:1. Camping with the family (we no longer had to mess with those propane lanterns)2. Going for late-night walks with the dog (lowest light setting was perfect)3. Working on a car late at night (fixing a flat and just last week I replaced brakes on a car -- this gave PLENTY of light)4. Illuminating for photography5. Night-time yardwork6. Directing traffic when there was an accidentThe best thing I did was pair this flashlight with a couple of 2-inch plastic spring clamps (one for each lanyard). Suddenly I could mount this flashlight to anything anywhere, and it was like having a full-sized shop-light. Because I bought two, I could mount one on each side of me and set the light at 75% and it really is like working in a fully lit room. The clamps also allowed me to mount this light to my backpack for hiking or to nearly any tent corner.

Very nice light, nice and bright, but could use a few feature updates. 1)Needs one better power button instead of the silly itsy-bitsy power button.2) it needs a way to keep it from rolling around on the table when you're trying to work. The round cylinder shape lets it roll around, and since the back side weighs more, it's always rolling on its back and ends up facing upwards shining in your face

This is a FANTASTIC light. Just what I wanted, it's bright (and adjustable), lightweight, sturdy, portable, and sits on its own on a flat surface. I also really like the two added cables. With both of them attached, it's easy to hang up the light horizontally. It charged pretty quickly for me with a portable solar charger 7W Solar Charger, Poweradd Portable Foldable Solar Panel Charger for Apple iPhone 6 plus 5s 5c 5 4s 4, ipad mini Air, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Note 4, LG G4, HTC, GPS, Gopro Camera and More but of course it also charges just fine with a usb cable to wall or computer. Very pleased!

I gifted a few of these for Christmas and two months later my Dad thanked me profusely and enthusiastically shared with me how much he loves this handy little flashlight! He keeps it in the cab of his truck so it goes with him on all his jobs, which often require a flashlight, so it gets a lot of use. He has trouble keeping track of charging cables, so he especially loves that it can be charged with a micro-USB because they're cheap and easy to replace. He also likes that the end flashes red to show when it's charging.

Pro Tip - Once the light is on, hold the little black button for a second or two and it will turn off... You don't need to cycle through all 5 settings each time. Yup, took me three weeks to figure that out. :-(I also loved the packaging. Little black tube slightly larger than the light. I store the light in this little black tube when not in use. Good little perk.

When it arrived, I charged the light until the blinking red indicator went solid. I figured that meant fully charged. However, when I turned it on and tried the various intensities, the light went out after about 8 minutes. Coincidentally, at that point I got an e-mail from OxyLED asking how I liked the light. I explained that I was not happy, and why. They immediately replied and offered a replacement. I said I would charge the light for 24 hours, and then try it again. That was 3 days ago. The light has now been on its lowest setting continuously for 64 hours. (I will update this review when the light finally goes out, but wanted to report now in case others are considering a purchase.) Buy it! Charge it! It will work work well, and best of all, the seller will stand behind it!April 29, 2014 Update: The light has 4 solid brightness settings, and 1 blinking setting. On its lowest setting (1), the light finally went out at 68 hours after a full (24 hour) charge. On its highest setting (4), it lasted 4 hours, and at its next setting down (3), it stayed lit for 8 hours.

Useful tool to have around. I actually love this light. It produces an even bright white light which lasts. USB charging is actually quite convenient. I am likely to buy more of these. They last too, which is something I was not sure would happen on brightest setting, which for the size of the thing produces a lot of light.These are excellent for emergencies, for any time lights go out, or whenever you are working in some dimly lit area, so an ideal thing to have in one's tool bag. I would definitely highly recommend this product!

"Oh my GOODNESS! These things are sturdy and BRIGHT! On the highest, non blinking, setting this little light puts out enough light to illuminate a large back yard. On lower settings the light is perfect for camping, hiking, and more. Battery life is fantastic too. I just wish more of the colors were available but that isn't a ding on the quality of this little powerhouse."
