Fantastic concept works like a dream
I don't normally write many reviews but this is so good it needed its praises sung!!...I needed a boat for an overnight river trip down the Medway with a mate and our two 7yr old sons. I have a small hatchback with no roof rack so a fibreglass canoe was not an option.Inflating the boat is easy just pump each chamber evenly and it will sit square. I bought the Intex Double quick pump...5 mins from bag to boat...Brilliant. Following some other reviews for inflating the seats....just pull the valve ...pump up.... click the valve back down again which seals it then pop the bung in...couldn't be simpler!!The boat is super stable and easy to paddle the kids fit easily and find the seats comfy.. Due to its flat bottom it does turn very easily...(sometimes when not required) put the little fin on and and that sorts it out. I am a level 3 canoe coach and have many hours paddling under my belt and this felt no different to any other 'solid' boat. The seats are pretty hopeless for a 6 footer to paddle from sitting so kneeling up perched on a dry bag with sleeping bags and clothes in worked well for me. you can use a kayak paddle if you need but i paddled it single paddle as an open boat to great effect! We had 4 bags with enough food and camping stuff for an overnight plus supplies for 7 miles down stream and 7 miles back the next day. It took it all with ease, very impressed. It went down canoe shoots flat and straight with ease and I lifted through locks on my own no worries. When it came to packing up, just pull the valves fold and chuck it in the boot. For cleaning and drying i just pulled the floor out shook out the leaves and used soapy cloth to get the worst of the marks off. Its now all clean and dry packed away ready for the next trip which is soon.

Great fun on calm waters
Bought for paddling about with 4 year old while camping. Quick and easy to inflate with a stirrup pump. I use a kayak paddle (Double ended) and sit my 16.5 stone self in the middle seat which gives me good control and good buoyancy. My weight raises the other end of the boat too much if I sit either end and makes control harder. Maybe fair to say heaviest crew member will be best suited to middle seat in my experience. My boy sits up front with a traditional canoe paddle.I only use it in calm weather on flat water. Wind over about 10mph will blow you in that direction which is to be expected from a light, high sided inflatable. Keep an eye on wind direction and strength so you don't blow away!Perfect for my scope of easily portable family play boat with a few longer paddles in super stable weather conditions. I tend to clean out sharp sand and grit when we get home to avoid abrasion on the tubing inside. The side tubes and outside of boat are fully covered in tough fabric. The removable inflatable floor is not covered so I take care getting in and out to avoid damage. A cover would be good for the floor but its a minor point.Packs down to suitcase size and fits easily in my Nissan Qashqai boot next to the hound. We love it :)

Sevylor Adventure Plus: after first use (on a canal, today).
On the whole this seems to do what I wanted; it is well made and reasonably priced. It is easy to paddle and is very stable (by canoe standards).A few niggles: the back packing system is not intuitive, not well explained and not very good. The valves for the side chambers are not captive but, if left in place, prevent all the air from being expelled thus making the canoe difficult to pack. If removed there is a danger of loss. The pressure gauge does not seem to work on the inflatable floor. Mine came with a zeroing error (reading 2 psi with no pressure applied), which however is easily allowed for.The centre seat is designed for a child but it would be useful for an adult to be able to use it when the only occupant; otherwise the canoe is down a little by the stern. These problems are annoying but not important. All I need now is warm sunny weather; hoping for a better summer than last year.

Great holiday kayak!
I bought this to take away on our staycations this year in the UK. Packs away in the supplied bag and is probably around a similar size to a medium/large suitcase. Boat takes around 20 mins to inflate with a track pump, I'll probably buy another pump to have as a spare/additional one which will probably halve the inflation time with two on the go at once.Boat is really sturdy and the material covering means you don't have to worry about about punctures too much. It handles really well with the skeg attached (make sure you fit the skeg before you inflate the kayak though) - that's the only slightly fiddly bit about setting the whole thing up.Only used on our local canal up to now, but looking forward to taking it down to Cornwall and using in the calm bays from the beaches this summer.

Brilliant fun
Great fun, easy to inflate and deflate. Good and sturdy on the river and plenty of room. Those that have had issues with out of shape canoes just need to move the bladders around slightly inside the canoe and they'll fit perfectly. The base can be taken out and cleaned as can the seats easily. Seats blow up with your mouth in about 3 seconds, which makes it easy to close the valves (read the instructions as they're slightly different to normal - better). Always wipe it down after a trip otherwise it'll go slimy and you'll have to hose it out (easy to do though). Already done about 60 miles in it and plan for another 7 hour leisurely trip on Sunday. Can't go wrong!!!
