This is exactly what you order, alright price.

4 stars because the box was a little damaged, and a couple pegs came off of two boards, not sure if it’s because of shipping. I took a pic for comparison of how big the containers are, I’m glad they gave extra white and black beads. Other than the damage and size, everything seems to be here.

So fun to do as a family or for something fun to do with your kids. Huge amount of beads. Will last a long time! The colors are so bright and beautiful. We did this during cold and flu season for something fun to do at home. Hot glue some magnets to the back for some cute new refrigerator bling! They make fun gifts for grandparents, teachers or whoever. Highly recommend!

I actually loved this kit! Wasn’t sure what to expect, but as a first-time user, this kit had tons of colors to make perlers. The square pegboards actually interlock too, so you can make big pieces (which is what I do for my festivals/raves).

These don’t compare to the name brand ones in quality but they are cheaper. I didn’t want to spend a lot on something my kids would lose interest in quick. They did the job I suppose. My biggest issue with the kit is the peg boards warp easily with the heat of the iron. I never had that happen with the perler ones before. The plastic sheets to protect the iron from the beads and prevent sticking are a joke. They are awful and they wrinkle. Use parchment, it works much better. The beads themselves are okay, they don’t build the most durable creations. I like to iron both sides to improve strength but my kids don’t like that look. They want one side ironed and inevitably snap their creations. Entertaining craft but quality could be better.

This is a great set for beginners, and makes a fun gift for small children. You get a wide selection of colors, and a decent number of each color bead. They melt well and hold their shoes once cool. The finished projects can be fragile if you don't do a full melt, but almost all beads are like that unless you're a pro.Overall this is a great set for a great price, would recommend for anyone looking to get into this hobby.
