Really odd collection here. It's focus is really heavy on the album Kick, and everything after that. Not much of their early hits are represented here. There is absolutely nothing from Shabooh Shoobah, which is the weirdest aspect of this collection. The albums INXS, The Swing, and Listen Like Thieves only have one song each. Hard to see how a two disc collection, that misses so much of their career, could be called Definitive. Usually a package such as this suggests whomever compiled it, did not have access to all of the bands music due to contractual and/or publishing conflicts. How can you have an INXS Definitive Collection and not have songs like Don't Change and The One Thing? It would also be nice to see songs like Shine Like It Does, Love Is (What I Say), This Time..... instead of stuff like Born To Be Wild, Salvation Jane, and Tight.So for people a bit younger than myself, who might have just caught the latter half of INXS's long career.... This collection will probably work for you. But if you're looking for a good career spanning collection.... This doesn't even come close.

It's best to get to know a band by listening to their best-of album. I have absolutely no idea why I started listening to INXS, but I have to say that I was thrilled by the quality of their music. Maybe their music is typical kind of Eightees music, but even those who are not into that genre or who are even born in the nineties will learn to appreciate this record.Overall, this record puts you in a good mood.

Good music but whole 2nd half of disc skips contacted seller Zoverstocks but no response.

Like Most Other " Best Of " And / Or " Greatest Hits " CD Packages - This One Also Gets 5 Stars, Simply Because Most Of The Big Ones From INXS Are Included Here....Acts Such As Eagles And The Band Can Soldier On After A Loss Or Two, But Like So Many Other Group Acts ( Doors, Cars, Etc ) Once The Leader Snuffs It, There Is Little ( If Any ) Reason(s) To Continue To Record And / Or Tour.So Usually All That Is Left To Do ( Depending On The Greed Of The Labels ) Is To Package, And Re-Package ( And Often Re-Name ) A " Best Of " And / Or " Greatest Hits " CD(s) ( Or Vinyl )Although INXS Had A Limited Catalog ( That Is, Until The " Lost Tapes " Are " Discovered " ) None-The-Less, The Boys Had A Strong Showing In Regards To Record Sales - World-Wide.So Here It Is, Basically " All You Need "

My second version of this gem of a compilation CD (my old one got played to bits) and I wasn't let down. INXS at its finest for ten quid. There are live videos on it too. Recommended indeed.
