Very beefy, needs heavy duty receiver
I was very impressed with the welds and chunkiness of this ripper. My only complaint is that the pin hole is smaller than the standard receivers I have. I'm not sure if I'm going to drill it out, or build a custom receiver for it (since my current receiver isn't that great).Be aware of the quality of your 3 point receiver. I will need to replace my receiver for one that is reinforced. The cheap one I have has too much slop and is missing an extra layer of steel on the inside that the ones on my road vehicles do have. I didn't want to tear anything up so didn't push my luck very much, but even with the extra slop at the pin and in the 2 1/4" receiver, I was still able to get it down 3 or 4 inches deep per pull in heavy dry compacted clay with my 23hp subcompact tractor. I expect it to rip better with a heavy duty receiver and some extra weight on the front of my tractor. I'll update the review when that happens.

Poor Alignment!!
Should be returning this item as the hole alignment is way off. Will most likely grind off the bottom of the structure to allow the digging shoes holes to align. Yep for the cheaper price I keep buying the Chinese junk. Should know better!

Very good quality.
The media could not be loaded. Product is better than expected for the price. It’s is very sturdy and I believe it will hold up very well.

Quality control
It looks good ,solid and strong ,the problem is , that one of the tip ( tooth) that goes on the bottom point of the ripper, does not have a matching hole to the ripper, so, to me, that shows poor quality control, if there is any . I have called the company and left a recording, explaining the problem and asking for a replacement, for the square tooth, which in the first place is the reason I ordered this hitch trapper. I will be posting back with updates
