Well made and safe to use.
Works great. Well made and best price anywhere. You ABSOLUTELY NEED to make a wide base to use this stand. I have attached a pic. The stand is heavy duty, but the weight of a shock would tip it over and especially when trying to loosen the cap nut on a coilover, it would tip over. Having a base would also allow you to stand safely behind the press while working.

Great Tools to help with springs
Great sturdy device, no issues with it and way an affordable tool to help put lowering springs on my car without risking injury

Not worth it.
Horrible product. The spring clamps flex so much that I could not compress the spring enough to release the top hat. The top and bottom bracket of the tool would hit. This may work for larger spring but did not work for the wide short spring on my 2015 GMC Sierra. The soft metal bent from the compression force. Ended up finishing the job with rented spring compressor tool from autozone.

Perfect!
My husband loves this. It makes his work easier, the quality is there. Designed perfectly and small so can be put almost anywhere.

Decent product
Very easy to set up. Product was a little unbalanced. Cheap and looks like it a reasonable product

A nice affordable piece of equipment that saved the day
I had a almost impossible set of bmw struts to rebuild that were progressive with a internal counteracting spring that only allowed the strut to extend half way out. So the very long spring had to be almost completely compressed which I could not accomplish with traditional types of spring compressors. This tool was at a fantastic price for how it performed and how much safer it is then a screw type compressor. Still very dangerous to compress a spring so be careful.

works well enough for short money!
Worked nicely for occasional home use. It is quite strong, but the a bit too fussy for a commercial shop. Adjustment of clamping height, swapping out sizes of clamps and securing of the safety cables all require nut and bolt fasteners rather than quick change pins so it takes a bit more time to setup and use. I'd buy it again.

Poor quality, unsafe and dangerous piece of junk!
Cheaply made chinese crap. The "weld" broke on the first use, causing the spring to slip and almost shoot out. Very unsafe! Look at these cheap, poorly done welds on this bracket and decide if you want this holding compression on a spring while you're working on it.
