Much better than dual 24”!
I grew tired of the dual setup of 24” monitors. I felt like there was a lot of wasted space and I couldn’t really work with 3 separate windows very efficiently, so I wanted something bigger. A 49” was just a hair too big for me to fit with my Klipsch bookshelf speakers on my desk, so I landed on this 45” unit. This model was on sale vs the cheaper version (same picture quality) so I went with this, otherwise I just would have bought that one. It works exactly as I expected, plenty of room to have 3 windows open with almost full view of each. Colors are great, contrast is great, viewing angles are great, and the price wasn’t too bad. I would suggest you just go with a 49” if you have the space though. The price is maybe $100 more and at this price point just go for it.

Meets my needs and surprised me
So I was curious about this and pulled the trigger on buying it. Bare in mind there are games and apps that don't support ultra wide screens fully. The games that do are insane. You can use it as a dual screen or do PIP. I have no issues on the picture quality. I've noticed no lag. My new PC paired with this I can do epic graphics and 120+fps on most games on 5120 x 1440 resolution. Well worth the investment. If it's your only monitor. Be aware you will not fill the screen with any video streaming services and such. They only go so high on resolution. But if you don't mind the sides being filled with black sections your good then. However, if you can grab some ultra wide supported wallpapers that are particularly scenic. It's beautiful. The HDR helps with the color too and makes it so vibrant.

Great monitor but very big. Measure your desk out before buying.
Bought one with an open box in like new condition. Works flawlessly. Everything was still in the package wrapped up. Paid $550, monitor is fantastic if you’re a programmer. For the occasional video games I play, I found it to be too big.

Ghosting on fastest response time
Huge and great value. My biggest gripe with it is the inverse ghosting on the highest response time. Colors can be blaringly vibrant if you'd like!

10/10 Gaming Experience, 10/10 Productivity.
I wasn't sure how I would feel about this monitor, going from 16:9 straight to 32:9 - my goodness, my eyes have been opened.Beautiful QHD resolution, bright enough to illuminate a room in the middle of the night, and the high refresh rate is a given necessity for anything gaming. It was incredibly easy to set-up, just a simple plug-and-play! Some games don't support 32:9, and I did have to upgrade to Windows 11 for the added multitasking. This thing is going to stay though, no matter what.

Terrible ghosting, and USB-C version is too expensive
I got the 32:9 variant of the monitor on this product listing. Specifically, the version with a USB-C port. I ended up returning it. The main determining factor was the VA ghosting. Still images on this monitor look great. But any time there's a high contrast between two colors side by side, there's a horrendous amount of smearing whenever the two colors are moving. The easiest example is using YouTube in dark mode. Any time you scroll, the thumb nails have this weird color shifting effect. Another example that really bothered me was in Sea of Thieves. My ship was painted black, and any time I looked at it against a bright blue sky as the background, I would see a dark green trail follow the ship as I moved my mouse. There's ways to reduce this affect, but they all just reduce the contrast to a point that you might as well have just bought an IPS display. And they don't even fix all of the ghosting problems. Another issue that I believe is related to the ghosting is that any time there is a pattern going across the screen, it becomes extremely jittery. This is an oddly specific example, but if you've played Portal 2, you may remember that the white surfaces have a texture with several small bumps all over the panels, arranged in sort of a grid pattern. When those surfaces were on screen and I was moving my mouse or walking, it felt like the camera was shaking due to the jittery-ness.I bought this monitor without realizing that there was a cheaper variant without the USB-C port. That part is my fault for not doing enough research before making my purchase. However, the non USB-C variant was $550 at the time of purchase, while the variant I bought was $700. $150 for a USB-C port seems absurd to me.My final issue with this monitor isn't anything wrong with this one in particular, moreso with 32:9 monitors in general. They're great for productivity, but many games, especially older ones, don't work well with them. In particular, any game that does not have an FOV slider will not look right. Objects near the sides of the screen end up being stretched to a point that they look much closer to you than they actually are. And most games still place your HUD in the far corners of the screen, meaning you have to look left or right to see it. You can turn the resolution down to 2560 by 1440, but then what's the point in having a 32:9 monitor?Overall, I would not recommend this monitor, especially for gaming.

Best monitor
The best monitor I have ever owned. Super impressed. I bought open box on sale, 450$. This monitor had been on my list since seeing it at Best Buy during Christmas. BE AWARE! It’s very large. I’m working getting a mount

Awesome size and functionality!
I primarily use it for gaming. I play a mix of rpg, open-world, story, and online multiplayer games. The picture has been sharp and the colors vibrant. The refresh rate is great. I also love the size and can have multiple windows open and still have them large in size while playing a game (like a game guide or discord). Would recommend.
