Versatile, bright rechargeable camping light
Wow, amazing light. So bright and can move the head to any position to add bright clear light in a tent. Would loved a bag to put it in though to stop getting scratched when carried about.

So you have ran out of fire wood?
I always try and have a camp fire when we go camping. It cooks your food, boils your water, drys you clothes, generally gives you light and raises moral. However, sometimes a fire is just not on the cards either too wet, not safe or there's no fuel. That's where this bit of kit really shines (no pun intended). This works as an excellent focal point to your camp for people to sit around. Essentially its a mobile lamp post. Better than standard torches as it frees up you hands, better than head torches as your not shining it into your fellow campers faces all the time. The pictures on the product don't do this justice as it goes about a meter in the air and they are all showing it half extended. When cooking on a camp fire I will usually let the fire die down a bit first as I find it better to cook on, this means that I'm loosing the light I need to prep and cook with. This solves that problem for me illuminating the whole cooking area so i'm not searching around on the grass for the salt or whatever. This is solidly built, it come with 3 pegs to keep it secured, but we never needed them. It's magnetic and waterproof enough that it can handle the rain. Also has a really nice battery life, this handled two nights camping (in British summertime), fully charged my phone and its still got 25% battery left over. Why not 5 stars? You can adjust the temperature of the light which is a nice feature. Changing it requires you to hold down the power button which then gradually adjusts the temperature on a cycle. This made it difficult for me to accurately get the light to full brightness. I would have preferred a discreet cycle rather than a continuous one.Great bit of kit though, it has replaced all but one (backup) light sources in my kit.

A fantastic lamp that is more suited to campervanning or caravanning than camping.
The Viozon camping light is very much a premium product, from the design and build quality to the ease of use, every aspect of it is targeting a higher price point that you’d typically expect for a camping light.First impressions are great, the light has a very sci-fi look and feel but it is heavier than you would expect, making it a bit impractical for hiking/ camping, though very usable if you have transport. The tripod legs are short, but the weight is low down making the light stable when it’s on the ground, where you can take advantage of the lamp either with direct light or diffused. If you use it as a direct light, you can angle the head to point the light where you need it. But for diffuse light, you need to slide the lamp down, so it contacts a large plastic block withing the metal cage which has a great impactful look.Operation is easy through the one button and recharging is simple using the typical USB cable (no adaptor though). All in all, a fantastic, if heavy lamp, that is more suited to campervanning or caravanning than camping.

Stay away from this lantern. Total rubbish
I received mine and put it to charge. Manual says it takes 4hs to charge and lasts 35hs. Total lie. It takes 30min to charge and the battery lasts astonishing 2 minutes and 33 seconds. Total rubbish. stay away from this product and do yourself a favour: if you liked this model of lantern, go and search for the original one named Outask. I'm returning this thing to amazon

Easy to use and holds its charge well
My daughter took this with her on a recent camping trip to Scotland and found it to be invaluable. At first she didn’t think that the telescopic part of it would be useful, however it was perfect for things like when playing cards, as it adjusted to the perfect height for the table. She said that it’s great that you can angle the light towards what you need it to focus on and it means that you can prevent it shining into someone’s eyes. It’s really easy to use and it holds it’s charge well. My daughter used it for 5 evenings for at least 3 hours at a time, and even though it was on the brightest setting, it maintained above 75% of its charge. She felt that she could have comfortably charged her phone from it as well, but didn’t need to. You can dim the light and change the tone too, depending on your needs or mood. It’s very compact and is a nice design. It reminds me of a portable speaker rather than being a very impressive light - but is much lighter in weight.
