V9 Smart Watch with SIM Card and Micro-SD Card Bluetooth 4.0 Waterproof for Android

Just as described, arrived very fast. Love the style and color combination. Easy to operate, only thing is getting it first connected can be a bit tricky, but there are lots of information about this particular watch on the internet. I really can't complain, seeing as how this watch is only $30. It's simple and works for the basics, it does offer a lot more if you are willing to buy a micro sd card for it. I only really use it to send and receive calls and send and receive text messages as well as tell the time, all of which you can do through the bluetooth connection, no sim card needed. I also like how its not too bulky like most cheap smart watches, it's slim and not too light but not too heavy. Feels natural, like a real ticking watch.

I bought this as a replacement for my old smart watch. It works perfectly for what I wanted. The bad reviews for it are because the people that purchased it are not as smart as the wach. If you want it to serve as a computer, you're going to need service for it. I just need it to Bluetooth to my phone so I can get alerts from the phone without taking my phone out of my pocket. It does this perfectly. Thanks for the great item at a great price.

Pretty sure I forgot to review this back when I got it but stumbled across it and felt I had to write a review. I probably wouldn't have sounded credible back then anyway as I was quite upset about the whole ordeal, but I want to try my best to write a completely unbiased review so you know exactly what you're getting if you end up deciding to buy this. I guess I'll start with biggest issues I had/expect others to have. The battery lasts nowhere close to what they claim. Just using it as a watch with literally nothing else set up (no sim/memory card, apps, alarms, bluetooth, etc.; literally just a watch) the battery wouldn't even last 12 hours, and I only turned on the screen about 5 times during that time. Right off the bat, that's just unacceptable, but I decided to try more out and look into upgrading the battery later if it showed any promise. There's no instructions that come with it BTW, that was an issue for multiple reasons, and usually the reviews give me enough info to figure it out but I only saw bits and pieces of info scattered around and I didn't find most answers I could've used. Just to make this a bit quicker to type while still being intelligible, I will be referring to the "V9 Smart Watch" simply as "V9", just an FYI. I did get a Micro SD to work with the V9, but never ended up adding anything to it so I'm not sure how fast the V9 can actually read it. The SIM card was a waste of time for me. I tried setting up a new one, it didn't work,so I decided to just give up on that as it wasn't important to me at all and I didn't know how to proceed with troubleshooting that issue anyway. One of the biggest issues of the V9 is the charging port. Even the cable that came with it fell out all the time and, at the time, that was the longest Micro USB tip I had. I ended up finding another Micro USB cable later with a bit longer and better crimped tip that would atleast stay in as long as I set it and made sure that I didn't breathe in that direction, as the most minuscule movement would knock out the cable, and I genuinely don't think there's another cable out there that would fit any better. Best bet would probably be one of those cables with the removable magnetic tip so you could just super glue the tip to stay (I think it would fit under the rubber cover actually so it's not a terrible plan if you buy this for whatever reason). Now it doesn't say this anywhere but DON'T UNSCREW ANYTHING. To insert the SIM or Micro SD; lay it face down, pop the back cover off carefully, and carefully remove the battery. The slots for them are directly under the battery. Be careful though. The button knob on the side falls out very easily and is incredibly frustrating to get back in place. I regularly work on small electronics and even I almost gave up on it. I can't stress this enough, take your time, and try your best not to let that button move a hair. And when I saw the internals, I just couldn't believe it. It's tough to tell if they even used solder on some of the joints. Fresh from the box, all I did was pop out the battery carefully and saw a few wires not even connected to anything. I hope it was a mistake or broken during shipping because if I actually accidentally broke the connections just popping off the back and taking out the battery, being as delicate as I was, I assume the whole thing would just completely break if I ever moved my arm too fast. Not sure the extent of what was broken as I didn't want to open it up before contacting the seller/Amazon, but the speaker and vibrate functions were definitely broken. I mostly just wanted to play music from a memory card to bluetooth headphones though (my work didn't allow phones on the floor but the other things were fine) so I tested further. Well the menus are terrible, there's no way to use them without a stylus as it's just too small, and it still sucks even with a stylus. Seriously the worst UI for such a small, barely responsive screen. They could've set them up better if they cared at all but instead they just crammed way too much on each page and had settings for stuff that instructions would've been nice for for an explanation. I tried to get a refund, but for the first time I've ever experienced on here, the Amazon associate I talked to refused to and wanted me to mail it back to them so they could repair it and send it back. Plus on top of that, they wouldn't reimburse me for the one day shipping I paid for or offer it on the V9 after they fixed it. There was way too many issues with the V9 for me to expect them to actually fix it into what it was advertised as, and last time I had a similar experience (not from Amazon, different company), I was only refunded like $1.50 on a $50 item even though the only issue was that they sent me the wrong size shoe, and it was waaay heavier than expected so I didn't want a swap. At the time, (talking about Amazon/V9 again now), I was working overnights and injured without a car so I couldn't get it picked up by UPS (I've had issues in the past with leaving packages out unattended), and it simply wasn't worth the painful, long trip it would've been to get to the UPS store. Amazon has usually gone above and beyond my expectations in all the years I've paid for Prime, but this product and the way Amazon treated the whole thing was incredibly disappointing. I can't stress this enough, just buy any other product. I expected it to be cheaply made but this is just too poorly made for even half the price to be considerable. Maybe mine just happened to be the runt of the litter, but I couldn't return it, swap it for a new one, or even get my shipping reimbursed, so I decided to just cut my losses and give up.

The watch was poorly made, the face was on crooked so it covered half of the camera. Returned.

Pleasant in sight, soft in touch, BUT-Difficulty to write/ register (i.e. names in the phone list, write an SMS, no need to mention emails!). Re-design of the screen is needed in order to fit best on adult fingers!-If you wear it and actually use it (talk to people), the battery will not last longer than 30 mins. Battery needs improvement.

Gave this to my son-in-law for his birthday-no complaints from him-he was very pleased!
