Great for store window displays.
I will update this review with more info later, as I fully explore this device. So far, it is working fineI am using it, attached to a TV mounted at the front of my store, to display still images and show video clips or my products and how they are made.It appears to support all common audio files, as well as all common image files and most video files. This TV had previously only been able to do a fixed slideshow of still images from a usb stick. Now it can show or play anything, and has a very functional remote control.

Perfect to expand TV capability.
Easy to use to upgrade my old TV to fit all media items, including my Nintendo switch, ps4, blu ray player. Pretty straight forward and it is a plug and play type device. Works great, smaller than I thought, so it doesn’t take up much space. Slick design. No speed issues.

Works fine, digital optical downmixes to 2 channel
This is a champ. Has played everything I've tossed at it.I bought because it has a Toslink output (digital optical) and mine is an older system. That said, the optical only sends 2 channel stereo, not 5.1.Has a cursor option which seems useless. Now and then, it will not play - just restart it.

Had the Potential to Be Great, but...
On paper, I like the features, but as soon as I unboxed, the unit was plagued with either not being seen by my HDMI port (using the included cable) on my new TV or freezing (happens with and without any media plugged in). The UI was written in semi-poor Chinglish and a couple of the menus didn't make sense, most specifically, the mouse icon. The UI graphics looked 90's era in looks of resolution/font, which is surprising since it claims it can output 4k...I expected a more beautiful user experience. The remote, while responsive, felt cheaply made and feel that one hard press of the button could break it. Good attempt, but falls short to being useful or reliable.

Great for signs or store ads
This little device works as advertised. It is great for playing videos or music without wifi. also really good for store or business signs.I checked it with music, PowerPoint, and photos. It takes 2 USB slots, perfect for swapping and storing the spare, leaving a few seconds of down time. The only thing about PPTX is that I could not get it to show the slideshows with the transitions built in. but you can choose for it to move to next slide bu 5-second increments

Over complicated for no reason - they refunded my money without me asking
I needed a media player with optical audio out. The brands I've used Micca and Agptek didn't have what I needed or they were too expensive. Got this one. The manual is in English but impossible to understand. The unit has standby mode so a light is on constantly. Why does it need standby? It looks like there's a way to turn it off totally but I don't understand how. Then there's mouse mode. Why? Worst of all when you plug a USB stick into it, it writes back a few folders on the stick. Why? As I mentioned before I've used a few different models and have never seen this happen. The remote. It has forward and reverse arrows that we've all seen but don't know how to fast forward or reverse a movie when it's playing. Again the manual is poorly written. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.I dropped my review down to one star. They've contacted me twice but have not/will not answer my questions. Either it doesn't do everything that's in the manual and/or they don't have anyone there that speaks English. And now I see that the price is reduced for Prime Days. My biggest problem about it is that it writes back to your USB memory stick.
