Aquaplancton 25kg, for the treatment of blanketweed, duckweed, green water, sludge and all types of algae in your pond.

This product has achieved more in a week in my pond that other natural products costing 4 times as much achieved in months or not at all in most cases. It didn't do much for duck weed, but the sludge has reduced by 50% and the algae by 70% already. Each day more and more of the debris and gunk have disappeared and the water is crystal clear. More gunk to go but I have left the pierced bag in the pond to continue working through the year. My fish have not been adversely affected in any way as they now can move more freely through clear water. Good product.

I have a very grubby pond, and this product has made it much cleaner. It seems to work progressively and steadily and I expect further treatments will be needed. The instructions do explain this well. The newts seem completely unbothered by it, which is important since they're the only inhabitants!

Even after multiple applications it has not worked

The water in my pond was looking rather brown and murky. I applied the white Aquaplancton powder mixed with pond water through a watering can. For a couple of days the pond looked dreadful - a milky brown mess - but then the water began to clear as the powder settled. After a week or so the pond water was looking much clearer although the Aquaplancton was still evident settled on the bottom of the pond: the instructions say that it will be a few more weeks before this disappears. Throughout the process the pond life - frogs, tadpoles, newts, toads and insects - have not been affected at all. A 1kg pack is plenty for a small pond.

Bought it to clear Green Water , it did not work ,still very green

Difficult to review. Now about a month after application. I turned off UV and pump for a few days after adding, and calculated amount to add v carefully.Blanket and duck weed seemed to diminish noticeably, but not fully gone and existing weed is now ‘re growing’.Created huge amount of sludge on the bottom of the pond- that I had to clear out yesterday. There was a lot of healthy blanket weed in this sludge too. Plants, under waterline, very covered with particles too.The pond water is still unclear/greenish. I don’t know what to try. I bought a big bag, thinking enough for 2nd treatment. I might try again but know this will create more work ie clearing out sludge- as it clogged up the pump.Any suggestions really welcome. Love my pond. It appears very healthy but I just can’t clear the water.

Arrived fine, instructions OK but when I tried to cover pond I had white powder all over me. So, got a bucket, pondwater and rainwater, mixed rest of powder in, and poured it into pond. Works a treat like that. The pond has been so clear since I used it. The duckweed (which is why I got it) has been much better, and am skimming it off.

Used this on a small wildlife pond with newts, snails, larvae etc but no fish. Pond is ~1m x 0.75m and had got choked with algae and pondweed. Usually the snails keep the pond clear but seemed to have died off this year.The treatment is a fine white powder and the recommended dosage entirely covered the pond surface and the leaves of the plants above and below water. The newts kept coming up for air and the whole effect was a bit alarming.The powder took a few days to completely settle to the bottom but, after about three weeks, the algae was gone, the pondweed was reduced, the water was clear and the wildlife seemed completely unaffected.There's enough in the 1Kg pack for a second treatment for our small pond and I'd definitely use it again if needed.
