Not sure if I am using it wrong but my fizzy drink is flat the next day. Tried in the refrigerator and out of the refrigerator, it does not seem to matter. At least it covers the drink to prevent any odors from getting in but it is not preserving the carbonation for me.

It works 9 times out of 10. For whatever reason sometimes the pressure comes out a little so 4/5 stars for me. It keeps the fizz for like 10 hours but any more than that and the fizz will start to get noticeably reduced, I cant speak for others but that has been my experience.

In some reviews, customers are saying that these items don't work, that they don't retain the bubbles in carbonated drinks. At first, I thought the same, but after looking more closely, I discovered that the flip down lid needs to click TWICE to seal. The first click does not seal. So, if you feel like yours is not sealing for you, push down harder on the rim where the tab is, and see if it clicks a second time. These DO seal, and in fact, if you give the button 5 or 6 pumps, when you open the lid back up, it lets out a very loud pop. So far, I have left an opened soda sealed overnight, and it was still just as fizzy as when I first opened. it.

If you want to leave the soda overnight it may hold the carbonation. Any longer than that and it’s probably useless.

Five stars when it works, but the lifetime of the internal valve can be measured in weeks at best. A shame.A quick test: you should be able to pump the dome, but when you cover the little hole on the underside, it should resist pumping. Otherwise it’s shot.
