⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Review for SodaStream® Mountain Dew® Soda Drink Mix, 14.9 Fl oz. (4 Pack)
I am absolutely thrilled with the SodaStream® Mountain Dew® Soda Drink Mix! This product has transformed the way I enjoy my favorite soda, providing convenience, great taste, and cost savings. Here’s why I’m giving it a full five stars:Convenience and Cost Savings: This drink mix has saved me from constantly buying 24 packs of Mountain Dew cans. Not only does it save me money, but it also eliminates the hassle of carrying heavy packs from the store and finding storage space at home. One bottle of this mix makes multiple servings, making it a much more economical option.Fantastic Taste: The taste of the SodaStream Mountain Dew mix is spot on. It perfectly replicates the iconic flavor of Mountain Dew that I love. Each glass is fizzy, refreshing, and bursting with the same bold, citrusy taste. My family and I can’t tell the difference between this and the canned version.Ease of Use: The drink mix is incredibly easy to use. Just a quick mix with sparkling water from my SodaStream, and I have a perfect glass of Mountain Dew in seconds. The instructions on the bottle are clear, and it’s simple to adjust the strength to suit personal preferences.Environmental Benefits: Using the SodaStream mix significantly reduces the amount of plastic waste generated from cans and bottles. It’s a great feeling to enjoy my favorite soda while also being environmentally conscious. Less packaging waste means fewer trips to the recycling bin and a smaller environmental footprint.Versatility and Portability: The compact size of the drink mix bottles is perfect for storage and portability. I can easily take them on trips or to gatherings, ensuring I always have my favorite drink mix on hand. This flexibility is something you don’t get with bulky soda packs.Quality and Value: The quality of the SodaStream drink mix is excellent. Each bottle is designed to provide a consistent and high-quality flavor experience. Given the number of servings each bottle provides, the value for money is outstanding. It’s a cost-effective way to enjoy Mountain Dew without compromising on taste or convenience.

Better price in 4-pack than buying 4 singles at the grocery store. Great Mountain Dew taste.
Nice price compared to single-bottle prices at the grocery store. If you like Diet Mountain Dew (Mtn Dew), you should like this syrup.

Tastes great, bad price
I've never seen the Code Red Zero cans or bottles where I live so it was really cool to see this new flavor. The good news is that it tastes great. I'm a big fan of zero calorie sodas and this one is a hit. The bad news is the price. For $24-$25 you're paying just as much as buying directly from SodaStream, and also paying $8-$9 more than the regular Mountain Dew Zero 4-pack costs. Hopefully the price goes down eventually, but at the moment this is a premium item that I'll only buy sparingly instead of the regular Mountain Dew Zero that I order enough to always have available.

Made my first batch, not looking promising.
I made a 900ml batch of it with my drinkmate carbonator and the color is lighter, the flavor is abyssmal. The flavor could be partially due to excessive carbonation, but the color indicates the mix values are not accurate. The instructions indicate 18ml per 360 ml (360/18 = 20 units, 1 unit would be the mix and the rest water) serving which is 1ml mix to 19ml carbonated water. The drinkmate bottle goes to 850ml, which comes out to 44.75 ml of mix which would make a grand total of ~900ml serving. I used a syringe to get 45ml of mix from the bottle.I will have to experiment with carbonation levels and how much mix to add to figure out if this is worth buying. 2-liter bottles are so much easier to deal with, just chill, pour and drink. And you get the same quality time after time. Hopefully with some practice and experimenting I can use these to make consistent and enjoyable diet mountain dew and save some shelf space.Update:Made my second batch. Really limited the CO2 to only a partial pump rather than my typical double full pump. That definitely allowed the mix flavor to shine more. I made a 360ml serving and used the base 18ml and it came out sweeter but not enough CO2. I added a bit more CO2 and it is kind of close to the 2-liter flavor after it has had a few minutes to breath. I bumped the overall rating to 4 stars.I also put the information into my drinkmate cost calculator and it actually looks pretty good. With the cost of CO2 it comes out to $0.25 per 12 ounce serving at MSRP. Better than the cost of buying it in 2-liter bottles even.

This is real Diet Mt. Dew. No compromise!
I have this on subscribe and save. This was already my daily soda, and I love the ability to make the real deal on my sodastream machine. I mix it per the instructions, and it tastes just like Diet Dew out of a bottle.

Mmmmmm!
Tastes like a bottle from the store if mixed correctly.

great
I nearly had to throw away my first batch like some reviews have said, but I quickly found out that that had nothing to do with the flavoring itself. Using filtered water is extremely important with this. I used tap water for my first batch and man it tasted like plastic and chlorine, it was awful. I then took the time to get water from my fridge filter and tested that out after cleaning the sodastream bottle and it worked perfectly.I honestly didn't think tap water was that much worse. Just get a brita or pur filter and this works perfectly, I love having this and the mountain dew zero flavorings on hand whenever I want. I also got some crush flavor enhancers which I use to add a twist to the diet mountain dew as a sort of livewire knock off etc. Good stuff.

Haven't Gotten To Try Much of It but It's Good!
While I haven't had much of a chance to try this out, I can say without a doubt this is the best sugar free cherry soda I've ever had. Sure, it might not be as cheap to run a SodaStream as it is to buy generic soda, but I'd say it's well worth it!
