I didn't know what to expect when I tried the Agro jerky, but I was pleasantly surprised! I have been a vegetarian for 15 years but I also really enjoy weightlifting and general fitness. For this reason, I find it difficult to hit my protein goals without supplements - but I get tired of the same old protein shakes and bars. My husband eats meat and loves jerky - so I was really excited to see what he thought about this (or even if he could tell the difference)! The macros on this vegan jerky are really good, and it tastes surprisingly nice! I'm definitely going to try the other flavors to see how they compare. TL;DR - if you're a vegetarian or vegan who likes to eat high-protein, try this jerky!

Even as a person who eats red meat I love the taste of this! It’s very tasty and nuanced-strong in umami flavor. Makes you keep eating. The texture is softer than meat jerky which is a good thing so you don’t wear your jaw out. But it’s as close to jerky texture you can get for not being animal, I found it satisfied that desire.

Great vegan snack, especially if you want somethng easy to chew.

This jerky is delicious! I was not a big fan of the first bite, but the more I ate, the better it started tasting, and now I cannot stop eating it. It is really flavorful, and you get a lot of intense flavors from it. I highly recommend it if you need a quick high-protein snack.

Avoid this vegan 'jerky' (a.k.a. they're jerking you around) crud like the plague. After choosing to become vegan in 2012, I've tried every major brand of vegan jerky out there, and this clocks in among the worst in terms of quality and mouth feel. This 'jerky' crumbles apart at first bite and leaves your mouth dry and sad. The flavor is passable, but if you want *real* jerky texture and top notch flavor, go with Pleather black pepper vegan jerky and leave this disappointing crud alone.

If you are looking for a plant based jerky product that is a cut above the rest, keep looking. This soy/sodium/sugary concoction is not that great. It crumbles easily and tastes like many other soy based fake meat products. This jerky misses the mark for being innovative or original with flavor. If soy based products are not your thing, this jerky will not be for you.

Taste isn't too bad but it's like really dry. Compared to other plant-based jerkys, this one just lacked a lot of needed moisture.I found it tasted better after being refrigerated.

For loving meat jerky I gave this plant jerky a try. It tastes really good. texture is different but it is really good. Will be getting more!
